Change them when the tips go bad or they start tearing. Never paid attention to brand or style until I got the elite ovals now I'm convinced laces do make a difference.

I change them when the break or get cut.

Lowry waxed white 108's in a 8.5 CCM skate.

I tired the elite waxed and they were too waxy and grabby for me.

Once every 3-4 games. I'm very particular about how my skates feel, and after 3 hard games the laces (Graf waxed) start to lose their mojo. I've tried every other type of laces and Graf worked/felt the best for me. On another note, unless I get a nick in my blade I rarely sharpen my skates during a season (maybe once every 15 games).

Wow, i'm surprise at how fast people change their laces! I usually just change them if they got messed up by another skate. Longest i've used is about a year or more.

I fear change and only sharpen my skates or change my laces when I absolutely have to. I average 3-4 ice times a week, and sharpen my skates maybe 4 or 5 times a year. I only change laces when they rip

I've recently switched back to unwaxed laces. I change laces when they cut or are close to breaking, or when the ends are frayed enough so that it's hard to put them through the eyelets.

every 2 weeks, very much worth it when it comes to keeping my feet feel secure in my skates

i totally get what you mean, during the third period my skates would woble around and i would have to re-tie my skates, which is pretty annoying

i'm glad there arep ppl whom change thier laces often as well

Been using Elite Ovals for a while, and usually change them once they start twisting a lot (those who use them know what I mean).

I just switched to gorilla waxed, just to try them.

either when they are close to ripping or if I have a consecutive streak of bad games... been a superstition since playing in college, re-lacing and full retape of the stick always seemed to help (in my mind at least)

I never change laces unless a cut or rip starts to happen. The only time I'll change them if there is no cut is if I've used them for a full season and haven't changed them yet. I definitely prefer wax laces over non, but not too worried about keeping fresh laces in all the time. I actually prefer wax laces when they've softened up a little bit.

Still using the laces that came stock on my Bauer Vapor x4.0s. Only change them when they start to rip. I usually will jut replace them with whatever they have in my LHS (usually white elite ovals waxed).
