No. Most of them find out in January. MINT found out because the store he works at is one of the biggest buying groups in the business so they find out early. I'm a bit different.

The bigger your shop is, the earlier you find out about it. The larger buying groups generally hear about things before the others.

I'm a bit different because of what I do.

A lot of times, I know about product before my local sales reps do.

I think most people on this board know about the new gear before the sales reps. Most sales reps I have met are completely out of the loop in terms of upcoming products.
