As stated.. Show off what hockey related gear you got for Christmas. Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas.

With money my folks gave me for the purpose of buying a new hockey stick, I have on order from Hockey Monkey (since my usual source, IW didn't have the first item listed at all):

1. Warrior Covert DT3 LT - 85 flex, W3 Henrique Curve

2. Warrior Dolomite Dragon (grip, green) - 75 flex, similar to Vanek curve (supposedly its pro stock, it was on clearance for $80 & will be my backup stick)

3. 2 x Tacki Mac Patrick Kane grips (I have been using the ribbed, wrap ones & wanted to try the thinner Kane version so this seemed like a good time to switch)

This will be my first foray into Warrior sticks & one piece sticks of any kind.

The ventilation on them is amazing. You can feel the airflow on your hands. I was sweating puddles in my Bauer 4-Rolls.

FYI: (The Canadian ones have little beavers on them LOL)

Is the adjustment clip on the top-back side of the helmet black? (block clip on black helmet?) or is it white? In pictures I saw a white clip on a black helmet and I thought it really stuck out and didn't look good.

Its white.

Put tape on it? If the color of a clip influences your purchase of a helmet, then I don't know what to tell you. You don't even see it.

Looks don't influence my decision enough to make me not purchase the helmet- thats for sure. I was just wondering as I haven't tried on the helmet in person and I didn't know if there was a sticker on the picture I saw or if the clip was indeed white.

On a side note- do you like the sweatband? Or did you take it out?

Understood. I guess your post just came off that way. It is a white piece for sure.

Fits almost identical to the Bauer 5100. I kept the sweatband in. I guess it helps. I never had issues with sweat getting in my eyes.

I LOVE those Canada red/white/black gloves. I wish I was still on a team that wore those colours.

Fits almost identical to the Bauer 5100. I kept the sweatband in. I guess it helps. I never had issues with sweat getting in my eyes.

Awesome thanks, I wasn't sure if it would effect the fit - Iv never had any problems with sweat in my eyes either. I could alwaystake it out if I don't like it anyways.

Coming from a bauer 4500- how do you like it fit wise? Im replacing a 4500 with whatever I decide to get.

The 4500 never fit me extremely well. The 5100 was the first helmet I put on and said "wow, this fits like a glove". So, I love it fit wise.

PP007 curve (whatever that is...)

I know I'm going to have to make a big adjustment someday when I have to go back to normal shaft dimensions, but I'll enjoy it for now while I can.
