Pic of Lightspeeds on Synergy skates

I haven't had the pleasure of doing that kind of swap.

RBII are supposedly compatible with Tuuk, which would make them compatible with PITCH, but I tried putting RBIIs on my S500s and they were slightly off.

Don't count on LS lining up.

Slightly off topic but I'm excited to say that I am one of the proud winners of the Easton toy drive drawing for a pair of Synergy skates. Not that I trying to rub it in or anything. Well, ok, maybe a little. ;)

I won a pair of the skates as well. Quick question, what are the holders on the Synergy skates like? Are they any good? Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Nah, they suck.....you probably don't even have any space for them at your house.

I do, however.....and am willing to uh, "hold" them for you in the meantime.

I'm guessing they're ok seeing as JR was gonna try them out on his S500's.

Actually, they aren't bad at all. Very light, much stiffer than I thought they would be. Steels leaves a lot to be desired for on a sharpening standpoint however.

How was the balance on them? I got a pair of Air's in the shop that are pitched 6 degrees back. It's not a pretty sight at all.

Meaning they aren't easy to sharpen or they don't hold an edge well?

Wow, 2 guys on here won Synergy skates! :P

Considering that many folks here came from the Easton board it's not that surprising. This is just a way for me to discuss non-Easton stuff.
