End cap options

This is going to be a strange question so bear with me. So I recieved my warrior dt1lt from amazon with and end cap that looked like this.

Now normally I pull the warrior end cap out, cut and inch or two off, put it back in and tape. Idk even know what to do with this. I would prefer not to put a wooden plug In. Are there any other options

Just pull it out cut and tape. You don't need to have the end cap in.

You could put a screw in it and pull the cap out or you could cut the stick and pop the cap out of the extra piece with a screw driver.

Ask your LHS of they have any extra plugs once you get it out. Most will have a bunch kicking around.

Ask you LHS for one, ask friends...steal one from an old stick. Warrior end plugs are the worst, they barely fit and they break really easily. Don't know why they changed from their older style that were just fine to these cheap plugs that break all the time.

hey man I got mine today and i didn't even get a plug! Some of us are less fortunate! ahaha kidding. But I always take one from the hundreds of broken sticks i hoard from my rink(hopes of potentially making something cool out of them or they just come in handy if its a good stick to keep the shaft).

Just take a screwdriver and pry it out. The piece you are looking at is less than 1" long.

Yes plenty of ways to get an end cap. Having said that if you can't find one, PM me.

I've pulled that piece out with a tweezer. If you pick up a Warrior shaft DO NOT tap the bottom of your stick on the ground while holding the blade or your end cap will wind up looking like that. :)
