easton/bauer/eagle/warrior pro carry bags

Recommended Posts

I was looking for a new one a few months ago and went with the Warrior based on feedback from this site. I couldn't be happier with it. I've had the Bauer one which was nice, but the Warrior blows it away. From the vented top so gear can breathe, to the mesh skate & accessory pockets, I love it. I haven't tried the Easton or Eagle one's, but between the Bauer and Warrior, the Warrior wins hands down.

biggest thing I looka t are the zippers. I had picked up an Easton Pro maybe 1 to 1.5 years back that was returned because the zipper was unlike anyother bag zipper I had seen. to me the zipper is a big deal.

I had a lower CCM bag that I accidently bags over one morning. it was fine and I guess after rolling over with the rear wells I should have stopped...But I didn't...The zipper got a good rub point on it...but it still seems fine many years later. This is what made me realize getting agood bag is based on thebags materials and the zippers used.

That's a great point. Looking at the hardware and stitching on pro bags will show which manufacturers cut corners and which did not.

Do you have a link to site that sells the Warrior bag you bought?

What are the internal pockets like on that warrior bag? Are they just small pockets for putting tape and tools in, or are any them big enough to hold jerseys?

There's 3 mesh ones running the length of the bag. 2 smaller ones for tape & pucks, and a larger one that can hold jerseys or towel or something. There's also 2 skate pockets located on either end of the bag. Really a great setup, I'm surprised more companies don't go this route.

I have the Bauer pro carry bag, and I liked it until the straps started shredding after about a year of beer league use.

The Warrior bag is amazing. Great quality, no fuss, lots of room,, and pockets on the inside. I highly recommend it. It also looks the best...to me at least.

The newer Warrior carry bags are taller and skinnier than before. They may be awkward to carry depending on your height. I'm 5'9" and the bag feels like it is too tall and keeps bumping into my leg as I walk.

The warrior bag I have is a warrior pro series II. It's a navy/orange (a unique color, but I live outside champaign, IL...home of the fighting Illini and so i have school colors).

The bag has adjustable straps...so I can adjust it to the height I want...but I think I have it set on long. I do not have the internal pockets others have mentioned. I have skate pockets on the ends and small valuable pocket at the mid point. I think the bag measures 36x18x20 and it works for me. I like that shape/size better than a 36/16/16. The only thing that could make this bag any better would be a u shaped zipper flap, instead of the standard straight zipper in the middle.
