Just reading a book (hockey trades) with the 2005 stuff in it.. and saw the Nike V-14 Shin/Shoulder line.. does anyone have any idea when this stuff will be on shevles? (other than 2005) :P

That extra pad on the shoulders better be removeable, I assume it is. I already see too many kids and adults with shoulder pads that overlap their elbow pads, or they wear the wrong size shoulder pads to prevent the overlap.

He is probably because over here in N-B, you have no other choice after High School, there are rec leagues around major cities but he live about 1h30 from a major city. There was Junior B a while ago, you could play there till you were 22, but the league fell thru a couple of years ago and some of those teams now play in the Junior A league. Alot of the kids that leave high school after they graduate will go play for senior leagues like they have where I live.

The leagues are out there. I'm in a similar situation (if its school), but take a look in the papers and keep an eye out. Your school SHOULD have a rec league, if not there's always pick-up until you find a league. I'm hoping to join a mens league in the next 2-3 weeks.
