I saw this picture and it looks like a yellow blade with no marking. Just curious if it is an R2 blade or possibly Easton's wood blade?

since that's a tapered shaft, I'd guess a TPS R2 as well.

looks like an r2 because it is a tapered shaft and u can see the black starting from the back of the tape job

What I don't understand is why use the Easton shaft and the Louisville blade when louisville also makes quality shafts and easton makes quality blades

It looks like the tape stops short of the toe and the toe is black like an R2. Perhaps he likes the shaft shape of the Synthesis more than the other tapered shafts available and he likes the feel of other blades.

On the US stick topic...what is the dif between the chrome SL and the SL with blue on the bottom???

And Kessel, it appeared to me was using a Blue Painted Synergy...which would be an intermediate, and that is obviously not true. Any thoughts??

Chrome = ST

Chrom -> Blue = SL

Kessel apperantly does use an intermediate, it was mentioned in a post in the WJC section.

Kessel uses 100 flex Modano synergys and synergy grips with candy cane tape jobs. He probably has a USA synergy in a Modano pattern.

Yeah...those skates look almost as silly as that damn mirrored visor....the more I see it, the more I hate it.
