What IS Up With Innovative?

Recommended Posts

Innovative is a real enigma to me. They make a great stick, but their distribution is horrible. Their website hasn't been updated in ages. Their production is spotty. A great product that no one knows about and no one can get.

How do they expect to be taken seriously? Will they survive?

They focus on pro stock and other companies and as far as I know are doing pretty good at the pro level.

They do better as an third-party manufacturer.

What JR means is that they make most of Bauer, WinnWell, Hespeler, and those "famous name" unmarked OPS that you see in the stores; as well as many replacement blades on the market.

The only Hesplers they mada last year were seconds and overruns they sold to low rent retailers.

What don't they have on the site? A different colour Novius and the Dual Kick? I wouldn't say its a terrible site, shows most of their products and for a company that isn't focused as much on retail as its competitors I think its more than sufficient.

what is the novius equivalent to ? :rolleyes:

On paper, I think the idea behind the novius is similar to a zbubble, only instead of tapering a standard shaft then flaring it out, it has the one concave side on the lower part of the shaft to concentrate kick.

However I don't thiiiiiink inno "third party's" a pseudo novius.

The Vapor XXX and XV are made by Inno?

XXX = Inno True One ?

XV = Inno 1100 ?

http://www.hockeyandskateoutlet.com does a lot of retail Inno business.

The Vapor XX is equivalent to the Inno 1100.

I've heard people say that, but I have both a XX and a 1100, and they are NOT the same stick. The XX has a pronounced dual concavity to it, while the 1100 is not close. Perhaps calling it a modified version of the novius design I could believe (less the boron spine and such), but, despite what numberous people have said around here, I do not see the 1100=XX.
