Toronto Hockey Show

The show was great. The new RBK stuff looks awesome. All the retailers must have had a blast i know i did. The new 7k with snake grip is awesome, the XXX feels awesome, the new synergy sl and st r awesome. Everything was awesome. The new mission hex 1 is amazing. All around everything was great. The new nike skates feel and look great.

Was anyone else there?? If anyone has any questions about some products or about the show PM or post.

inno only has the true one and the 1100. Easton has the new 1300 gloves feel great except i'm not a great fan of the "smart cuff" and if i were the customer and i liked the grip shafts i wouldn't be getting these gloves because of the palm. I tried the gloves with the St grip and i couldn't move me hand up and down the shaft at all becuase of the grip on the palm and the stickum spray on the SL.

Wouldn't the point then be to have grippy gloves and loose the grip stick?

yes that the point i guess but the big deal last year in retail was that everyone loves the grip feel on the shaft right? personally i don't liek the grip feel.

Has anyone ever used that new OPS repair kit. it isn't cheap at $600 USD for the kit it has to work.

Never used the kit, but have had an OPS repaired by someone who appears to use a similar process. It turned out great.

hey guys, well I just got back from a long and tedious day at the annual Toronto hockey trade show where we made all our buying decisions for this upcomming year. Just to be curdious..... if anyone has any questions regarding products or anything like that let me know.. we pretty much tried on everything and tried everything new n exciting and not so new n exciting.... such a LONG day... but let me know.... if not just let the topic wither away..... either or! lol :D

Going to the show tomorrow... anyone find any new brands? I already know they exist and who they are....I just wanted to see if there was any snoopers like Chadd and JR last year... I'm already a little disappointed that the show is 2 days old and very little info is out. Last year certain individuals had already discovered the stealth secrets and had info posted on the board the 1st day. :o

Yeah, last year JR and Chadd went to the show in Toronto. It was the only show last year. This year their's a show in Vegas and Toronto. The opted to go to the Vegas show instead of the Toronto show. That's why we haven't had any "big reviews."

I'm not surprised Graf isn't at the show...Hell, I can't even get ahold of their weasle rep in his office or his store.

Any review about the new flexlite v12 nike?? (we can't talk about fit because every feet is different..)but how about the heigh/material/contrustion of them??

V-12 is good product, lighter than the XXX buy alot is seemed, somewhere between the Synergy and the XX.

Noticed alot of the smaller companies Booths were dead like Fury, Tundra, and Inno.

Some real nice goalie helmets from Paul Cohen that I missed last year

Also noticebly absent after there troubles last year was Brians.

Liked the CCM product more than I thought I would, RBK skates and Helmet are brutal, I imagine they will be taking back alot of the helmets, I don't see how that adjustment system can not break
