favorite brand of skates

i have had eastons a few times and im convinced that their blades suck

i just got my first pair of bauers this year (8000's) they fit my foot great.

CCM, they are the only skates I have worn for the 5 years I have been playing, I would like to try out Bauer, Graf, or Mission though

Graf made me the only skate that has been 100% confortable in all the years and skates ive gone through (that includes custom XXs). I know they have been a little shady as of late but i still love my G5s and dont think i will stray from Graf anytime in the near future.

Daoust, the 301 skate. But seeing that's history, I have had better luck with CCM over the others. My Graf G35's fit nice, but the workmanship isn't on par with the price of them. Might see if the L7 fits when it's released. Reluctant to try the Easton's.

I love my Vapor X's. I had switched to 2003 Easton COMP SE's and switched back to my Vapor X's even though the considerable price difference. At first I thought the Easton's were butter, but I learned..

I voted Nike but how different are Nike and bauer skates? I liked my bauers but my quest 1's are like butter and its going to be a sad day when I have to retire them.

A little off-topic:

Do the mission ice-skates fit similar to the mission roller-skates? I play 3 times the week ice-hockey, but sometimes on the weekends i play inlinehockey. So i bought the mission D3c inlines, but have to say that i dont like the fit too much ... i find them too soft compared to my Vapor XII ice-skates.

So is the mission ice-skates fit similar to the inlines fit? (what about the 05 models?)

btw: favorite brand until now is bauer. I absolutely loved my old "custom supreme 4000" (the "FLO-FIT" ones with the black tuuk holders) i think they were from 1996 or so..
