favourite goalie:  Tommy Salo - you never know what will happen with him!

He is also the favorite goalie of the entire country of Belarus.

Exactly the reason why he's fun to watch - make a great save or blow an easy play. An 'edge of your seat goalie' even on a dump in!

Without question Steve Yzerman. I have idolized the guy since I was 10 years old, and I'm 31 now... ;) I can't think of many athletes that can keep a clean classy record in their sport and at home like he has. It's really a shame there aren't more players like him, not just in hockey, but sports in general.

Quite true!

I've been a fan of his since his Jr A days. A class act all the way, on and off the ice, through good and bad times.

my favorite(s) have to be Mark Recchi, Mike Ribeiro, or Bobby Ryan(not an NHL player, plays for Owen Sound Attack of the OHL, fifth in scoring, he lives in my town, and he's amazing at hockey, ranked 3 in North America and 4th in the world for top prospects)

Favorite Goalie - Patrick Roy without a doubt

Hanson's Brothers!!!!!! :angry::angry::angry::angry:

ok, i'll be serious:

#1 Mario Lemieux.

#2 Steve Yzerman.

#3 Jaromir Jagr.

But i'm going to remove all the nhl stars from my memory. What they are doing is simply absurd. They're about to kill nhl...

favourite all-time: Vladimir (Vlad the Impaler) Konstantinov - hit like a truck, and every once in a while scored a gem of a goal.

THAT A BOY!! Me Too!!

My favorite All-time is Vladimir Konstantinov. Close second is Vyacheslav Fetisov. Russian D-men are just smooth.

The Red Wings just put out a huge DVD set with a bunch of stuff on them, including some complete games. I know Game 4 of the 96-97 Finals is on there so you can relish that center ice hit on Janne Niinimaa again and again

I also loved to watch Vladdy play. That accident was so unfortunate..... Speaking of the video, what about McCarty's 2 goals (1 that was called back)????

And didn't Perizhogan slash some guy in the face?

Yeah, great role model.

Hey no one said the pol was Fave Role Model. The kid was coming into his own late last year...he made a mistake, will pay for it and will play again...when he does, he has every chance to be a star in the NHL.
