I saw these the other day which reminds me, wasn't Eagle going to make a couple pro models available for retail purchase last year? I remember seeing pictures of Bertuzzi, Fedorov, Heatley, and a few others. What ever happened there?

Yeah, that's that series of glove. It's either someone trying to pull a slick one one people as though it's a pro issued glove. Or they don't know, and think it's pro issued.

The Hockey Shop in Surrey, BC sells these gloves along with the Canada and USA 'flag gloves' and some Naslund Eagle gloves.

They're in the 2004 catalog but not the 2005. I believe the rep said they are still available. I highly doubt those gloves were ever headed for Bert.

I love how pro stock eagle gloves got the plastic inserts. This kid on my teams got warriners on the Flames and they got the inserts as well.

The plastic inserts aren't exclusive to Eagle. Eagle is my brand of choice for gloves but I've had pro returns from Bauer and Easton that have had the inserts as well.
