golfpuck

weirdest curve?

Experiment. I'd love a curve like that. As long as you aren't a true sweep motion shooter that curve is $$$. Biggest slap/snap sweetspot ever.

The story on the Makita curve...

He cracked a blade in practice and tried to finish it off by taking a couple of slapshots against the boards. He was impressed with the shots he got off before it broke completely and began experimenting with big curves. This was before the days of the illegal curve.

My dad played with a nasty curve (back in the day) for a while, but had trouble with accuracy from the point. He still has one of the old green striped Northlands in his garage.

John LeClair's ranks right up there, works well for getting the puck up from right in front of the net though. *Edited for photo.

is that right or left handed

If you would of read previously, since Leclair is a lefty it is left handed.

here's a pic of prospals actual stick and it's curve. Looks a bit different than the original picture. It's of course possible that he changed it to have some loft but this is what he is currently using. 200603111136233923.jpg

in a somewhat related question... Does anyone make a curve similar to Prospal's? Or recommendations on the best way to copy the curve? *note - I do have access to one of his sticks(but i don't want to use that stick, i want to try the curve on my two-piece).

I would LOVE to try that baby out. That curve looks sick.

I like the prospal better, i'd love to try a backhand with it. I bet the toe drag is incredible... I'm drooling.

The great advantage of those kind of curves is your snap shot. If you learn to hit it in the in the right spot on the toe they basically explode into the top corner without any effort. You don´t need to adust or anything..just a quick roll out of your wrist and bang :D

I would not be surprised if this is Kovalchuk's LH twin...

I have a couple of his, and it looks identical...

This isn't the greatest pic...but...
