Reebok 7k Stick

Recommended Posts

Epuck will have the 7k in stock any day now at $189.00 USD. I'm actually semi-impressed that Reebok has just entered the Hockey Equipoment market and they are already offering a 395 gram one-piece. Granted they bought CCM, CCM never had a 395pc stick. I am curious though to see how durable they will be without Kevlar. . .

Any day now! I was suposed to get my RBK stuff on or about 1 Mar. What day is it today???? Anyway, I'm planning on selling the 7k for $179.99. I think it will be a hit, real nice feel.

I'm not impressed at all with the 7K...i did not have the chance to check the datsuyk curve(suppose to look like a iggy) and the feel...but as for the grip it seem pretty normal (like a XX)...

And for the 395gram OPS...i hold it and oh well it feel pretty heavy(i would say a synergy Si-core(maybe it just me, but i found that the si-core is unbalanced/more heavy compared to the reg synergy))

I'm not really impressed with the 7K rbk but i might go back to the standard shaft and try one of those 5k with the SUPER SNAKE GRIP!!LOL

So who is going to be the next shoe company to jump into hockey? If I had to guess, I'd probably say Kangaroos! Just think, a stash pocket in your skates. And hot pink and orange skates would probably be standard colors.

Well, someone of course will have to buy Mission/Itech, their all that's left besides Sherwood. My vote is for Addias, or whomever has the biggest Chinese manufacturing facility. :-( Sad, very sad.

Only problem is the Easton will last about 31 days, who knows about the RBK's yet. But historically, CCM's have better durability so I expect the same from RBK's.

BTW, the Datsuyk will likely be the most popular pattern.

I'd say Modano. It's the same pattern as the Easton.

Nah, Modo doesn't have enough curve for most folks, in our neck of the woods anyway. In fact when the local chain hockey stores went out of business and the Estons were marked down, the Modos were the last to go. For RBK, it'll sell good, but I think Datsyuk will be more popular

They did good getting Datsyuk.

That will probably be the most popular curve around. Inless they change the modano.

Must be your area. Modano was Easton's most popular curve.

Around here it's

#1 Coffey

Everything else

I saw the Datsyuk and it didn't look like an Iggy IMO, like JR said, the Modo will be the most popular.

whats the datsyuk like? has anyone seen the new modano up close? is it the same? around here the modano is very popular as well, along with the iggy and sakic. all the others are about equally popular.

wow, I just assumed modano was the #1 curve everywhere. though, before the modano composite got so big around here it was the p71 bauer.

For Eastons here, Shanahan #1, Sackic #2, then Modo/Lidstrom are tied for #3. Not sure why folks around here do not like modo, but most say they want more curve. I sell Shans 10 to 1 to the modo, and even with Parcrow's, the Shan clone outsells the modo clone.

Must be "regional" preferences, We don't like grits either!
