Heating Vapor XX

Yesterday I was at the rink and a kid told me, who hasnt done it, that if you heat a Vapor XX the blade will pop right out, is this true? And could you make a two piece tapered shaft out of it?

Yep, if you scuff the bottom of the shaft you can see the join just like a regular two piece

yah all you do is heat it and u have your shaft... bauer doesnt really want anyone to know about it tho..

same mine didn't work it just bubbled on the premium compostite sticker, and I put it in a clamp and pulled and it didn't budge has anyone made a shaft out of it?

i have. i heated mine for a bout 5-7 mins the stuck the blade in the vice then justed pulled simple as that. i couldnt pull it out with my hands.
