  1. Due to the effectiveness of their entry, I'd say that an employee was involved in some capacity. If the alarm sensors are only fixed to doors, then the alarm wouldn't have sounded till they exited the store.
  2. Do you usually put your shins in the bottom of your hockey bag? I have seen some shins split from dropping the bag onto concrete.
  3. yes
  4. I'm not liking the extended highlights change from gamecenter. 10-15 minute clips down to 3-5 minutes is a big drop off. If I'm not sitting down for a full game I'm not getting a lot of content from .tv other than a goals only highlight.
  5. I'm still loving mine. Only complaint is the grip/graphics are peeling off, but I usually candy cane my sticks so it isn't bugging me much. Blade durability has been solid so far, no chips or gouges to speak of. The shaft still has all of its pop, haven't noticed any dip in performance thus far. Quite impressed.
  6. It's not like this is the first time fans have abused the voting system in the all star game. Every year the host city manages to get their boys to make up the whole starting 5. The year Montreal hosted it was ridiculious. Their starting 5 got more votes than the rest of the entire field. At this point flooding the ballot boxes with undeserving players has become the strongest tradition associated with the all star game since its inception.
  7. Exactly. Corporate attendance policies that are too lenient is another vent on its own, but things usually have a way of working themselves out in cases such as this. As they say, give them enough rope...
  8. People who don't show up for work which causes a delayed opening of the store, then complain that they don't get enough hours.
  9. One weird thing I used to when I was breaking in a new baseball mitt was to bring it in the bathroom when I took a shower. The vapor in the air would loosen it up pretty well. Kind of a strange thing to do looking back at it...but it worked pretty good for me.
  10. One reason that CCM skates may outsell Bauer in a LHS but see more Bauer on the ice is because way more people buy skates online than in a brick and mortar store.
  11. This is the first time I have seen a troll thread on here in a good little while.
  12. Went to lock up the store after a long day and my key somehow bent in half in my pocket. Of course the other manager that lives five minutes from the store couldn't be bothered to answer the phone, so I had to sit there for an hour till the other manager got there to lock the door. Come home and a random car that is parked on my street is sitting there laying on the horn every 5 minutes (it is midnight btw). Had enough after a half hour of that, called the non emergency number and had a cop come out and tell them to shut the hell up. What a wonderful evening.
  13. I'll set the over/under at 60 goals scored.
  14. The Reebok lines were absorbed by CCM. The Ribcor line of skates and sticks are the continuation of Reebok's offerings. Same with the Tacks protective line, renamed and rebranded Reebok gear. In a nutshell, everything that Reebok offered will still be offered by CCM. Ribcor skates and sticks=reebok, tacks protective=reebok.
  15. I wonder when his adidas deal officially starts. Still a strange picture as he would technically be contractually obligated to wear Reebok (if that contract was all encompassing ie on and off ice) until the adidas contract kicks in.
