Might be very slightly towards the back - because I like a more aggressive stance, but there actually pretty centered. Not really, they might look that way because the small wheels, but they are defintey more aggresive - which is my biggest complaint about normal hilo or hummer chassis. That and the fact that the frotn wheel sticks out way to far to simulate an ice skate. Heres a pic of my makos vs Hilo with a shim : Depends. I think they are more like an actual tuuk holder than hilo, or sprungs. Which could make it fit better or worse for you. Mine basically lined up perfectly on my vapors exactly where my tuuk was. (size M marsblade, size 7.5D vapor) The makos I actually had to dremel a bit off of the marsblades where the mako has that weird plastic bump running under the boot. But still they fit great. I actually had trouble at first with the nuts spinning, but then I realized I just needed more washers because the head and nut were touching (even though I didnt think they were that close at first) I used big washers that were large enough to fit over the outside of the tnut so I could tighten the bolt pretty good. Lemme know if you want me to show you if that sounded confusing. Cool. Thanks!

Shoebottom didn't seem so bad, but maybe it's different for a skater vs. a goalie. Bob Cormier was kind of intimidating. Most of the guys, Bob Beers and Tom Songin in particular were nice about dropping back and encouraging me between plays, making sure no one ran over me, etc. (also, having a pack of former NHL'ers taking warm-up shots on you is both exhilarating and utterly terrifying.)

Those games are so much fun to play in.... Shoebottom is the only a DB. You have to keep your head up when he is around

If you can upgrade from 0 to 2 stars and find a helmet that fits your head as well, then I would do it. (bold, italics and underline are because someone will want to pick a fight and ignore that part)

I got to play goal for the Boston Bruins alumni today! Had the usual pickup this morning, and afterward I was in the locker room, and the rink manager comes and he's like hey, you're the goalie? Yeah, I'm a goalie. And he says, the Bruins alumni team needs a goalie today, do you wanna play for them? Well yes of course. I ended up splitting the game with the guy who runs the clinic I skate at, and it was so, so much fun. People in the stands, an announcer. It was a charity game for the Dana-Farber institute and the doctors are pretty darn good, although it was clear the Bruins alumni could pretty much turn the game whichever way they were inclined. I made some decent stops and the alumni were all very nice, and I came home with the game puck. Seriously, accidentally the best Saturday ever.

No. I have the Easton E400 and it fits me, that's the most important thing.
