Got my uniforms today! Orientation starts on Monday and I am way excited.

Just to close ranks on my post from a few days ago.... skated yesterday and this afternoon at public session and things are moving in the right direction.

A CAG just puts a flat spot in middle of blade. I have a CAG and can do that as well, but the 9/60/9' on my website is an actual radius template bar. Difference in outcome is you'll have a perfect 9' radius on each side of the flat, where on the CAG, you don't, it doesn't radius that area. How do you know that stock 9' is actually a true balanced 9' before? You don't. The cag simply puts the flat in middle of existing contour, whatever that may be. If your radius is F'd up before, it'll still be F'd up after.

Thanks, they are the Jerseys just about everyone in the League over here has. We use them for Tournaments and Shinny sessions during the off season. Next time I'm in our darks I'll post a picture!

Just got clearance to skate and play again so went out and bought myself a pair of Bauer Supreme 190 skates. So EXCITED!

It's been a long time since I've posted...life's been crazy in the past 3 years; ended my personal business, got engaged, got married, moved twice, the passing of our baby...so now I'm back and finally got the gear set up in the new home. Always loved the Supreme line of sticks from the start: One90, One95, TotalOne, NXG and MX3

New brace after my latest knee injury...now to invest in a new pair of shins wide enough to cover the sidebars on it.

i agree. It takes some getting used to, but the thing with these skates are that they are all about free range of motion. My first couple skates had me worried, but now I dont think I could ever go back. Its gonna take some big sponsored athletes or bauer cloning it to really catch on, but I have no doubt that if bauer had made this skate, and called it the "new bauer odin skates" people would be shitting themeselves over these, and it would start a shift towards more skares designed like this. Because its Easton, and people like what they are used to, it might not catch, or if it does, itll take much longer. I know im a bit biased, but I truly believe the Easton mako/custom skate with an aggresive pitch is the best skate out there by far.
