I'm already looking into intermediate lol. Like I said, I live in florida. And not in Tampa or somewhere with a better hockey population either. Finding it on cragslist locally isn't gonna happen. And before someone mentions it, yes ive already looked on ebay. I found 1 set if leg pads i like but i think theyre no break and i was looking for single break. Gear is never truly unisex either. This may surprise you, but women have boobs. For skating out i have a women's chest/shoulders and I love it. So far I can't find upper body goalie gear for women and it's slightly disappointing because I don't want it to be uncomfortable. As far as the knee thing goes, as long as there are exercises and stuff like you said that will help then that's a good sign.

    1) It seems to be even lighter than my Bauer 1X 2) This is the stiffest tendon guard I have ever seen! Had some concerns as expressed in a previous comment but obviously this is by intention. Eager to try this if it helps a more powerful stride or if it's hindering stride length. 3) The toe cap is absolutely amazing! Due to the new construction the toe cap is put on top of the mono frame and there is enough space even for my bigger forefoot. Best toe cap so far I would say.

Nobody ever had to go to the hospital because a ref called a game too tight. Calling any penalties qualifies as too tight for a lot of guys, as well.

Took the Super Tacks skate out for a spin today and was quite impressed. The skate was very responsive and well built. I normally wear a 7.5D Supreme and stayed with a 7.5D Tacks. I did not have them baked (just spot heated some pressure points) but I feel I can fit a 7.0D after baking. The toe cap feel reminded me of a cross between a Supreme and Mako. This is the one CCM skate I've been excited about in recent years. It will be CCM's widest fitting retail boot. You'll have to go custom if you need a skate with more volume (similar to the Nexus or RBZ). I would buy a pair when it releases but the price (and no EPP incentive at this time) makes it difficult to justify switching from my Supremes.
