Hi Mike and welcome to MSH. I know the question about STEP Edge was already asked and answered. Do you have any idea when those Bauer patents/trademarks expire? Also, how are companies like Massive, Tydan & Bionic able to sell Edge steel when STEP can't?

Hi Shenanigans! We have heard of some stores selling our STEDGE in the US, but they didn't get the blades from us here at STEP. They most likely purchased them from a canadian distributor. once the blades leave STEP we have no control over where they end up, But thats all part of the fun! Thanks,

I seem to remember seeing some on their site which is why I asked as I hadn't seen them on any other American sites. Perhaps Chase loaded his suitcase up with a bunch when he was in Quebec... ๐Ÿ™‚

I was surprised when you said they had them. I just looked...they're down to one set of one size in the black steel. Will be interesting to see if they get more.

Never Ending 240Z Project on my instagram for the car. Going with a VH45DE from an Infiniti, 6 speed from a 370Z, rear end from an R32 GTR, and a whole lot of other upgrades. Should be fun once I get through all the body work.

Yes! My left leg is 7.5 mm shorter, and I have been using a lifted custom insole for 6-7 years. I originally found out because I was subconsciously compensating by walking on the outside of my left foot, and I ended up with stress fractures. I noticed after my first couple of skates that my lower back and knee felt off, but I didn't want the lift in the boot which would throw off the fit of the skate.

Curious as to how this is going with the OP? And what did you end up doing? I had similar feelings going on last year. It would start up close to the time I needed to leave for my league games and I would start thinking of reasons not to go. I really enjoy my teammates and the ability to play, but I think my issue was the league I skate in. There are only 3 other teams and I was sick of skating against the same goons every week. Sure winning is definitely a better feeling than losing week in and out, but I was almost more worried about taking a cheap shot and being intentionally injured. I ended up taking last summer off and then the rest of the year just to give myself a break. It worked out well for me at least. Came back to my team after the beginning of the year felt a lot better about the game. Still taking some time to get my game back, and thereโ€™s still a little apprehension on my end about getting out there against certain skaters, but at the end the day Iโ€™m glad to be skating again. I definitely missed having a night out of the house with the boys! Hope everything is working out for the OP.

Went on our longest hike yet. 10+ miles up a mountain (2300โ€™ increase up to about 8900โ€™). The top 1/3 or so was in snow and we had to wear spikes on our boots. Walking almost nonstop for 6.5 hours! Amazing views!
