    It could be because the stock insole doesn't have wings anymore, which always made it tighter up front. Disregard if you had speedplates or superfeet in.

    Not to mention, people are less likely to report in that their skate is a-ok compared to when there are some issues to mention (minor or not)

    Which insole do you use? Don't forget the normal insoles in APX2 and MX3 have wings on the that take up extra space in the toe cap. This could be taking up more volume at the front compared to the new speed plate. However, someone who has seen or tried both could probably comment with more concrete info.

    Yes, because the "real screws" have never had any issues staying tight or maybe even falling out... Wonder what all the E-pro customers would say about that. I'm assuming you weren't referring to the LS2 holders as well, because those screws wouldn't make a difference when it comes to lateral play.

    Now I want to know what those standards are haha. They look pretty cool for a vintage/throwback design.

    HDI -- Clamp it on the blade, push the copper (?) piece all the way to one side, turn the face of the dial so that 0 sits at exactly where the needle is, move the slider all the way to the other side, and discover how far off your one edge is from the other, in thousandths (?) of an inch.

    This is the same mechanism that's used on the APX2's, which have been on the market for over a year with no major issues. It will also be featured on the new Nexus skates, when they launch. If it wasn't well constructed and at least as durable as its predecessor, I highly doubt it would be considered a viable option for every single Bauer skate going forward. Same fit as the NXG's, though the new lacing system makes it wrap the foot better (closer), so it could feel like a smaller skate depth wise.

    Slight change of fit on the ribcor with a more rounded heel to match it up with the anatomical fitting supremes, from what I was told. Pump also provides a perfect anatomical lock. Tacks going with a tapered fit like vapors

    I can't help but cringe every time I see a pair of RBZ's come in looking like this. I've started to actually mention it to customers now, mostly to increase awareness.

    Figured I'd mention that we warrantied a pair of Mako's today that had a very similar issue to the picture, but worse. The whole holder could be torqued away from the boot and took the bottom with it. Seemed like a breakdown due to materials, not wear and tear or rust

    Had a pair of the goalie skates come in to the shop the other day, and could not believe how light they were. Paired with the reflex cowling from bauer, it blew my mind

    Has anyone ever had issues putting an FBV on thinner blades? Had a customer come in saying his new Reeboks couldn't hold an edge properly when using a 100/75. Any thoughts?
