Got tired of stingers, Passau glove not expected for a while, guy was selling a Brian's Sub6.0 glove barely used for $125 shipped. Turns out, I shouldn't have used it until I broke it in more. I can't seem to catch anything with it. I'm just going to sell it I think and go back to my old glove, even if it's lacking padding. It feels like a baseball mitt (both in fappability and in palm thickness...) and I'm comfortable with it.

Except for the ridiculous blunders, you mean. LOL!

Brutal game. Bailed out by my teammates. Let in two completely garbage goals and one that I should have had. First goal was a knuckleball that bounced off the ice over my pad. Second goal was an inability to catch a puck with my new glove. Third goal was a soft trickler that I tried to sweep over for my D-man to pick up and ended up missing it completely. I should have stopped it with the paddle before pushing it over to him. I'm definitely going back to my old glove until my Passau arrives. On the bright side, we're now 6-0 on the season and I'm leading the league in every goalie category (GAA, SV%, Shutouts, Wins).

VH Footwear/TRUE by Scott Van Horne

The silver part. -
I'm not sure it would have covered that spot enough. It was a stick, too, so the angle was downward. Maybe someday...

Like a gladiator ready for battle. Love it.
-
Yup, I'm happy regardless of delays. And with the deposit being fully refundable at any time, there's no risk.

You don't remove the eyelet. I'm confused what you're talking about. Getting the lace through what? -
Maybe. Though the Model X delays were primarily due to the batteries. But now the Gigafactory is operational so that shouldn't be an issue now. Either way I have an extra car I can drive until it arrives if it gets pushed back.

I really need to do that. Where'd you get them? -
What's that? ;)

I hear you. That's why I'm now skating out in rookie league. Can't handle it as a goalie. Even as a skater the complete lack of structure and positioning means a ton of turns and stops and starts from broken plays. D-men have full control of the puck in the defensive zone? Forget about getting open for a pass... Better to just get all the way back because they're sure to cough it up. It's TIRING, even when it's a level or two below where you normally play.

Just happens to line up almost exactly with the end of my current lease :) Also, better than the 2-3 year wait if I hadn't pre-ordered!
-
Nope, no issues here.

Hah, that video is great. Some pretty good saves in there. Love the ref.
-
Just pre-ordered my new Model 3! Now for the long wait...

NEW SUPERFEET 'CARBON PRO HOCKEY'
IPv6Freely replied to SeanCornell91's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
I love my superfeet yellow, and if there's a new and improved version count me in! -
Check out the Powerfoot inserts thread. I think there are some Mako users in there.
-
I use a 2' shoe horn with my VH because they're so hard to get on!
-
Heh I couldn't even get mine on my feet out of the box!
-
That's correct. They're referring to a Bauer or CCM, etc. branded oven. Some people will risk it at home, but like I said - most people here won't condone it.
-
In the chin?? How does that happen?

I don't have my chesty in front of me (in an airport) but I think I may be able to help. To adjust neck height, use the Velcro on the back shoulders. For the floaters, notice that there are TWO sets of attachment points for the straps at the top of the floaters. I too like my floaters pretty close to my chest/shoulders so if I recall, I'm using the outer connection points, done up to about half tightness. I believe Passau is working on a site refresh and I've heard mentions of some adjustment instructions being posted. A video would be nice as well, but we'll see.
