  1. It's listed under sticks and shafts The LT is supposed to be the progression of the nasty R. Mr. Data could elaborate more, not sure if it was supposed to be replacing it.
  2. Did you guys drill a hole for the LS2 in case you want to change the steel or are you just taking off the holder in that case?
  3. It is a good deal plus you got step steel. And its in your size. Feel good about it.
  4. Saw 3 pairs of 7.5 for $150 USD. That's asking. One guy had two sets. Granted there was no step steel. I was looking for my buddy but he ended up going with some pro stock nexus.
  5. Well "Like new" Guys were selling new ones for $150 few months ago.
  6. Ok just curious, I'm 11.5 on the right skate and it's 296. But I was 306 in MLX size 11.
  7. I used the stock footbeds for around 20 games, they are moulded to your foot but having flat feet I was getting blisters in my arch. Usually use superfeet but tried grafs, I like them way better than stock. My old superfeet looked too thin when I got them inside the boot, I could see the red liner on both sides.
  8. Barkov stick for sale if a clone is needed. https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/sticks/313914-true-aleksander-barkov-pro-stock-stick
  9. Do you have a list of all the patterns base has? Including the pro versions. There is alot missing from the website.
  10. It was years ago and I think they were regulars. I would say nexus is a good boot if your are going the Bauer route. My friend has the same issue and got 9k skates years ago. We both did a bunch of research and think nexus would be the way to go but haven' tried them on in store so I could tell you for sure.
  11. I had the same thing as you. Wore my old 705s but having flat wide feet, they were killing me so I did some research. I went into Reebok/CCM (even just an E width) and they felt way better. So I would say you would be safe going with CCM. Later I had custom wide MLX (early VH), and those are the most comfortable skates I've ever had. For 7 years. Now I'm in VH this year, they feel the same but just stiffer. You can't go wrong with VH/True if you have no budget.
  12. Helmet: Bauer ReAkt Elbows: Reebok/Jofa 8k Pro Shoulders: Bauer Classic Chest with Sherwood Shoulders Shins: Reebok/Jofa 6k Fitlite Gloves: Warrior Franchise (3 pairs - All Custom) Skates: VH Pants: Tackla 9000z Air Sticks: CCM Tacks Perron. True 6.0 with Base bc28

  14. It will be stiffer obviously, but they are still comfortable. The other thing you have to think about is longevity, they will last way longer if you get the enhanced protection. I took a shot off my inner ankle 2 weeks ago, the hardest I've ever had. Looks like it was a really bad contusion (just waiting for the results) but I am pretty sure I would of broke or fractured it if I didn't have the protection.
  15. Flip12, I think you were the only person that requested that. They have this in a 5 and 5.5 already I believe.
  16. Now that Stephen has chimed in on the thread, maybe we start a base curve request 2.0 thread poll with the type of curve people are looking for. I.e. Toe curve, open face, Toe curve, slightly open Mid curve, natural face Etc. The rocker and the lie should be agreed upon before production.
  17. I find it hard to sauce passes with the kovalev, it opens up early and has a heel kink. I like the barkov, but I feel it would be better with a toe kink on the end. It would make it really playable all around but give you the benefits of the toe curve.
  18. Still using the bc28? Doesn't look like we are getting much traction on new curves here.
  19. This is what I am using at the moment and its my favorite set up. True 6.0 tapered shaft, base b28 sharkskin blade. Using an 85 flex but thinking I should try a 95 also.
  20. Depending on the lie, face and the rocker this could be a really good curve. Something that anyone could use, need more pics from the top and side though.
  21. Is there a list of all the curves base offers, I feel like everything isn't listed on the website.
  22. Has anyone tried Tuuk and VH/Step holder on the same boot for comparison? I'm coming from (MLX with Tuuk) to (VH with VH/Step holder Stepsteel and sidewall protection) so its hard to get a feel for the difference in the holder.
