    never know rubber to be shiny, but it definitely does not feel like rubber. Its almost like glass, it fogs up when you breath on it.

    Never done a pencil test so couldn't tell yah... But they definitely feel a little deeper then the one90's, and definitely more volume. Those pictures don't do justice to how much padding there is around the ankles and how much more then the one90 this boot locks in your heel (at least with my experience). One thing that really throws me is that my one90's are a 11d, perfect fit, and my one95's are a 10.5d, and noticeably smaller when placed side by side, but in terms of fit feel like the same length. To "shifter", just rockband and guitar hero lol.

    The Bauer insole is the same as last year, but like JR said there has been a slight redesign. I'll take some pics of the boot all around. The boot is very stiff, which i love, but yes it is a little rough flexing all the way forward. Haven't yet experimented with undoing the top eyelet.

    I met with the owner of the Pro Hockey Life stores about a month ago. Wasn't able to convince him to get a store put in Vancouver any sooner then 2009 though lol.

    I had a Pro stock McCabe SE (blue), but when all the paint chipped off it was just an SL that was painted over :(

    Is the S17 elliptical or square? It looks elliptical in the pic but i know some prostock are square at the bottom.

    That is a nice curve, almost the same as my Jordan Staal Team Canada one90. How do you find the flex?

    i could see it being the same as the one90 (799) even if it isn't a better skate, it'll be newer.

    bauer makes a 77 flex senior, easton should probably look into that...

    Just go by sportchek and pick up either a synergy si-core or ccm vector v120. They're both around $120, and definitely worth it. I just broke my stealth so i picked up a si-core, just wow. For what i paid, i can see why this stick was originally around 250. great feel, excellent shot, even the accuracy is great.
