Liquid Tension Expirement Consists of Dream Theater's John Petrucci, Mike Portnoy, and Jordan Rudess, along with Tony Levin on bass. they released 2 instrumental cds which have some of the best instrumentals I have ever herd. I highly suggest any Prog fan to check them out.

Completly slipped my mind. Ive never mentioned Jason Becker. He is a speed metal neo classical guitarist with absoultly insane shreading abilitys. Sadly at the age of 20 he was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrigs Disease. He has been a stable state since 1997. I suggest checking out the album Perpetual Burn.

Geddy is amazing also. I still think there are better players such as Myung, Bedrosian, Levin, and Claypool. Geddy is just known alot more than the others.

Alright, I have hands down found the best bass player I have ever herd. I honestly think he is better than Claypool. His name is Aram Bedrosian and he just released his self titled solo album. After seeing Dragonforce live. I cant even like them at all. Sure they play insanly fast on the album but live they are very sloppy and notes seem to be missing.

Yeah saw them here at The Peral Room. Great show The Odyssey was an amazing song to see live. I was front row right in front of MJR and Russel Allen it was insane.

The new Explosions In The Sky Cd is my favorite from them yet. Very great music can make long car rides go by very quick.

Ive been really into rodrigo y gabriela latley. Also give Paul Gilbert a listen, he is probably the worlds best guitar player.

Gonna throw this out there Porcupine Trees new album Fear Of A Blank Planet is one of my favorite albums at the moment. Very good Progressve rock band, easy for Dream Theater fans to get into. Some of their other albums I suggest are Deadwing and In Abstena. Also, Symphony X very good band. You cant go wrong with any of their albums, their soon to be released cd Paradise Lost looks to be very promising judging off of the material i have listened to.

I cant lie ever since ive seen the movie Friday Night Lights Ive been really into Explosions In The Sky. Great band all instrumentals. Going to see them tonite at The Metro its gonna be awsome.

Saw the coyotes play the hawks last night. Doan was wearing the Vector helmet, very nice looking in my eyes. But he was ack to the 10.0 stick.
