  1. Had a new girl on the books. Thought she seemed normal, great body, funny/interesting to talk to. New discovery, she has two personalities. One hot, one cold. RAUS!!!!!
  2. Exactly K Tang, if you work harder, you will be worth more then the Football player anyways. Think of how long their career is/chance of making the NFL. Compared to the chances you have of making good money through hard work at school/college. You will have a house, good wife, plough and double door fridge/freezer for the brewskis! Football player with a broken hip gets sweet f all. My vent is this: Tossers in the locker room who think they are better then others because they have been playing top grade hockey since they were 12. I played state and I treat my fellow state players the same as I treat a junior player or beginner adult. With courtesy, tolerance and most of all respect.
  3. Sorry Kev, don't know him. I don't play under the state league due to the shit-house rink they support. I prefer the Puckhandlers league, Div1 and Premier level this season. Great rink and the best players in the state. If you can, get down to the Puckhandlers rink, its a great facility and a decent little shop too. www.puckhandlers.com.au
  4. That is correct and very creepy Kev. ;) Scored 3 goals in 2 games and a couple of successful backchecks on them over the weekend. I'm all about the backcheck a the moment. Been skating on Sprungs now for 4 years. I went back to Mission mags for one session a few weeks back. What a waste of time, I am (as I have been since day one) a full blown Sprung advocate. In regards to the rest of the setup, these are the best fitting Roller boots ever. I love the wheels setup in particular, the softer Hornet on the front really adds to the "ice like feel" with a rocker + solid front "toe pick" like dig into the tiles. Special thanks to Rhys (aka: Aussie Bear) for the mount, another masterpiece.
  5. Got these mounted a few days back. Hit them twice yesterday. AMAZING!!!! I forgot how good the Sprungs really are when new. Needless to say, its another triumph of the mounted kind.
  6. Best pair of fruit boots I have seen in ages. ;) Getting my new Sprungs mounted on my true and tested (plus rather worn out) Vapor XX boots today. Pics up once I get them back.
  7. Swayze (aka: Sutton) had some of the best lines in Youngblood. What a legend he was. RIP weary dancer.
  8. Finding my Aus Passport after it was lost for over two years. Saves myself 400 bucks!
  9. Haven't seen a Kuzak pro frame in many years. Mix of old school and new. Those look fantastic.
  10. 6 days straight of hockey coming up... It could be as much as 12 sessions! 10 inline and 2 ice. If I'm still alive by wednesday, it will be a freak'n miracle. ;)
  11. Those Bat-Skates are mint!
  12. All red on the bottom half of the skate looks great Mik, next best looking thing to some Sprungs.
  13. Never wanted to redo anything H School related....until I read that. You sir are a gang-star! ;)
  14. K.O.B.U.S. Afrikaans metal, fantastic stuff....
  15. Single, no missus whinging. All night sessions at the pub/club/hockey rink/"buddy's" house. Most of all, the distinct feeling of hope that the most positives changes are happening in my life.
  16. There's a difference between passion and not looking up to see your defence helping you out. It also shows how low his skill set is considering he doesn't have the ability to play the puck out with a good pass to the wings.
  17. We have one goalie who will dive onto the puck onto his own rebound, I'm talking 7-9 feet dive. What really drives me nuts is that I'm generally the 1st guy to that puck and about to swing into a break out, but he has to smother it like he is saving a certain 2nd shot goal in OT of the Stanley Cup. He takes my stick with it and has this look of intense satisfaction, like a kid thats just got the last awesome Happy Meal toy in the store. I swear I thought I'd never roll my eyes like that on the ice but there you go.
  18. I once went to a pro inline try out here and half tripped the goalie with my stick blade. He was majorly pissed at the time. I didn't know him then, but we laugh and joke about it now.
  19. Here we screen the goalies etc and for the last few weeks have been including checking in the scrim sessions. Some guys don't like the checking but others will go full tilt. Everyone knows who is to be hit, so its a great environment atm. I have a great camaraderie with one of the goalies and we will have sessions where we try and push each other around, trip each other and screens. He loves it as it adds an extra element to his skill set which definately comes up in games.
  20. Still prefer the Vodka method, nip it in the bud! ;)
  21. Or do what Chadd did a few yrs back now, bring two bottles to a session. One with regular water that you hide and your usual bottle with straight Vodka in it. Some dumbarse will come off, have a squeeze and learn their lesson one way or another.
  22. Ja, he's a royal Dumkopf. I almost shot him in the arse a few weeks back to get the point accross in a more subtle fashion. ;)
  23. We have a goalie who graces us at pickup occasionally and never leaves the ice. He leaves the cage, but will sit in the corner when he's not tending. The moron took a rebound to the helmet a few weeks back and cracked it. Needless to say we had a chat and he now sits on the pine the rest of us.
  24. I know, he just reminded me of something similar thats all. As they say in Thailand; "same, same but different."
