Good old Z-Leader. I remember their cage that you could clip up. Pretty neat.

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
kovalchuk71 replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
There really are no unique tips I can give honestly. Just make sure the wheels are centered in the front and the back of the skate (obviously). The reason I had so much trouble with this was because the skate was a 9.5D, and my buddy requested the SM/MED Mission frame (9.5 is on the VERY END of the sizing spectrum for this frame. I needed to make sure that the wheels were sticking out evenly in the front and the back, so I took my time. I'm very meticulous with that kind of stuff. Especially since these arent cheap skates. Actually, I do have a minor tip. The second set of holes in the heel (the holes closer to the toe) line up just about perfectly with the rear Magnesium frame holes. Put coppers in those and use them as a guide for the rest of the skate.- 2855 replies

Some Nexus 8000 skates I mounted for a teammate. They were a PAIN IN THE BUTT. Took me nearly 3 hours. Way too long.- 2855 replies

Thanks for the advice. And no, I am not starting out in college, I graduated last summer and am taking some extra classes. I have honestly found the "tutoring" resources pretty useless. Since you aren't paying for them through the school, the tutors often rush you in order to fill all of the students they have on their list.

I had a great Gen Chem I teacher for the first Summer semester. Now, for Gen Chem II, my teacher is AWFUL. He's a really nice guy, but he doesn't present the information well at all. This sucks, because Chemistry is THE course that intimidates the crap out of me. Plus, this is the quantitative chemistry class, and I am BAD at math. Getting concerned/overwhelmed. Ugh. Just need to push through I guess. No July 4th festivities for me . I'm gonna go to the library all weekend and see if I can figure this information out.

Found these at the local PIAS and had to pick them up. Traded some old stuff in and ended up paying $14 out the door for two pairs. The mesh bags were a nice surprise as well. I have 2 bags to put wet socks into

Baby steps man, baby steps. Good on you for making the effort to get into shape! "Rome wasn't built in a day" Seems appropriate here.

First world problem, but I HATE the new HydraMax liner in the APX2 skates. Can we just go back to clarino please? This stuff is brutal and does not grip your foot at all.

Wow. RIP Tony Gwynn. What a terrible loss for baseball.

This is why I prefer to ref the 6u/8u/10u/18u and Bronze/Silver Adult games. I try to avoid 12u/14u/16u/Adult Gold games at all costs. I call that the "danger zone"

RIP Marbles. Pets passing on is always rough.

Its AMAZING what a new hairstyle can do for your self-confidence. Went with something completely different than I normally get today (It's been a process in the making). Not TWENTY minutes after getting it done, I received 2 compliments from strangers. Plenty of smiles from the ladies as I was walking by too . My day is made.

Found the key to a close, smooth shave the other day. Noxzema. Forums are great. I've never had a better shave than I had today.

Demitra also used a woody painted as an XXX Lite when they were produced. That was a beautiful stick.

I paid for rush shipping from Warrior. They sent me two lefties instead of righties. I emailed them and was told the righties would be sent next day air with Saturday delivery, but were not (I really could have used them this weekend).

Warrior DT1LT's W28 (Yakupov) 75 Flex And due to a mess up by Warrior, they are sending me an additional DT1LT at no charge! Great customer service, as always.

Started reffing again this weekend. Reffed 16 games as a Volunteer and played 10 games as well. I feel like I got shot in the thigh and my feet are still killing me. That wasn't why I felt the need to post this though. Parents. They are incredible. Now I remember why I hated reffing youth hockey. This was a CHARITY tournament for THE TROOPS. I have never heard so much b**tching about the refereeing. At one point one parent in the stands pointed to a kid on the rink and told him to come fight him. Really?!?! Nevermind the fact that 90% of the refs (there were only 8 or so) VOLUNTEERED their time. Granted some people/players came up and thanked us for volunteering, but they were few and far between.

Today is Memorial Day in the USA (National Holiday), so give Blademaster a day or two for a response. -
The rMBP was nice, but was out of my price range. Now that I have the 11", I am preferring it to the 13". I can't get over how light and thin it is.

With a minute left and down three, some genius decides to rip a slapper at my leg. The worst part? I had a similar bruise right above it that just went away The bright side? I had 4G 4A that game.....and my brother was in net

Just picked up a 2014 11" Macbook Air and couldn't be happier! I wanted to downsize from my Early 2011 i7 15" Macbook Pro. Just too much computer for me. I don't use it for anything but web browsing, and some Microsoft Office work. The thing is lightning fast and is so light and portable. Plus, I couldn't beat the $150 student coupon through Best Buy. Ended up paying $800 out the door (vs. $849.99 from Apple WITHOUT tax) Can beat the 11 hour battery life either. I love Haswell!
