    I have the worst luck with women. Like THE WORST luck. I can never catch a break. I've never been in a relationship of any kind and I'm beyond frustrated. Why me? What did I do? Am I not a good person? Ugh. Ok, I'm done.

    Game the other night. One of my teammates throws the puck into our own net with 3:00 left in the third. We score with 3.6 seconds left on a bat in goal to tie it up and take it into OT. Ended up winning in a shootout. My favorite kind of games.

    Just picked these up tuesday. I like them quite a bit. They feel a bit roomier than the APX, which I really like. SUPER stiff though, which isn't a bad thing.

    I agree. Just got the email that I made first "cuts" The only issue here is that I still very much want to go to Medical School. I figure I will let this play out and see what happens. I'm just worried what I am going to do if I actually do get the job.

    Had a successful interview today. The woman on the phone said I would "very likely" be chosen for the next step, which not many people were chosen for. Very excited about this. It's a very prominent company.

    After talking to my therapist and really doing some soul searching (I really hate this term, but whatever), I have finally decided that what I want to do with my life is help others. Nothing truly makes me feel more accomplished than making someones day better, or even just giving them someone to lay their problems on/small talk with. I plan on graduating in May, and then plan to go to community college finish up my pre-requisite classes so I can apply to med school in a year. I have never felt so right about something before. Feels great.

    Down 15 pounds or so and am very happy! Went from 185 to 170ish. Me gusta.

    FINALLY found out why my shots were coming off "fat". My sticks have been torquing too much (I have been using a 65), which caused the shaft to twist and the puck to come off fat. Moved to a 77 Bauer and haven't had the problem since. So happy. I am 175lbs, so I probably shouldn't have been using 65's in the first place.

    Ok, time for more of a "rant". Parents who try to "coach" their kids team when they have no idea what they are doing, let alone have any hockey skills what so ever. I get that you are trying to help, but you really aren't. There are a lot of kids in my area with a lot of skill that are being "held back" because of the lack of proper coaching and it really sucks to see.

    Nothing more true than that. I used to drink...a lot (college life), and while it was fun....the morning/day after was absolute torture. I felt like my depression tripled in intensity. I still like to drink, but I do it in moderation.

    I've been in a rough spot the past couple months. Depression has hit me hard (I have had depression/OCD since I was 11). All of my friends have graduated, which has pretty much left me sitting in my house twiddling my thumbs every night. No hockey in my town, so I am really struggling finding anything to keep myself busy or anything to make me happy. I'm over going out to college bars and gettting hammered every night, and being an introvert works against me and makes it even worse. It's gotten to the point where even getting out of bed to go to class in the morning is difficult. I really hope things turn around, because right now, life really sucks. /rant

    That's what I want to really go into (Consulting, Finance). I just don't know where to look. Do you have any information? it just seems so difficult even getting an interview as a non-finance major. Chippa, Your response comes across as kind of ignorant, no? Things change as one progresses through college. In a perfect world, yes, everyone would know what they want to do coming out of HS. I went into college as a nursing major. 3 years in, I figured out it wasn't for me. What would you like me to say? I'm sorry that what I liked in HS wasn't what I ended up liking as I got older?
