  1. RIP Marbles. Pets passing on is always rough.
  2. Its AMAZING what a new hairstyle can do for your self-confidence. Went with something completely different than I normally get today (It's been a process in the making). Not TWENTY minutes after getting it done, I received 2 compliments from strangers. Plenty of smiles from the ladies as I was walking by too . My day is made.
  3. Found the key to a close, smooth shave the other day. Noxzema. Forums are great. I've never had a better shave than I had today.
  4. Demitra also used a woody painted as an XXX Lite when they were produced. That was a beautiful stick.
  5. I paid for rush shipping from Warrior. They sent me two lefties instead of righties. I emailed them and was told the righties would be sent next day air with Saturday delivery, but were not (I really could have used them this weekend).
  6. Warrior DT1LT's W28 (Yakupov) 75 Flex And due to a mess up by Warrior, they are sending me an additional DT1LT at no charge! Great customer service, as always.
  7. Started reffing again this weekend. Reffed 16 games as a Volunteer and played 10 games as well. I feel like I got shot in the thigh and my feet are still killing me. That wasn't why I felt the need to post this though. Parents. They are incredible. Now I remember why I hated reffing youth hockey. This was a CHARITY tournament for THE TROOPS. I have never heard so much b**tching about the refereeing. At one point one parent in the stands pointed to a kid on the rink and told him to come fight him. Really?!?! Nevermind the fact that 90% of the refs (there were only 8 or so) VOLUNTEERED their time. Granted some people/players came up and thanked us for volunteering, but they were few and far between.
  8. What level do you play and what is your price range? They both are fantastic skates. If you feel you could benefit from the Max, then go for the Max. You won't be sorry with either though.
  9. Wow. Best looking Alkali skates yet, Justin. I am impressed!
  10. Today is Memorial Day in the USA (National Holiday), so give Blademaster a day or two for a response.
  11. The rMBP was nice, but was out of my price range. Now that I have the 11", I am preferring it to the 13". I can't get over how light and thin it is.
  12. With a minute left and down three, some genius decides to rip a slapper at my leg. The worst part? I had a similar bruise right above it that just went away The bright side? I had 4G 4A that game.....and my brother was in net
  13. Just picked up a 2014 11" Macbook Air and couldn't be happier! I wanted to downsize from my Early 2011 i7 15" Macbook Pro. Just too much computer for me. I don't use it for anything but web browsing, and some Microsoft Office work. The thing is lightning fast and is so light and portable. Plus, I couldn't beat the $150 student coupon through Best Buy. Ended up paying $800 out the door (vs. $849.99 from Apple WITHOUT tax) Can beat the 11 hour battery life either. I love Haswell!
  14. They only come in one width. Justin has stated that the boot forms so well with baking that it can accommodate up to a EE width.
  15. The latter option. You have no idea if those skates even fit your feet properly.
  16. I have the worst luck with women. Like THE WORST luck. I can never catch a break. I've never been in a relationship of any kind and I'm beyond frustrated. Why me? What did I do? Am I not a good person? Ugh. Ok, I'm done.
  17. Game the other night. One of my teammates throws the puck into our own net with 3:00 left in the third. We score with 3.6 seconds left on a bat in goal to tie it up and take it into OT. Ended up winning in a shootout. My favorite kind of games.
  18. Just picked these up tuesday. I like them quite a bit. They feel a bit roomier than the APX, which I really like. SUPER stiff though, which isn't a bad thing.
  19. I agree. Just got the email that I made first "cuts" The only issue here is that I still very much want to go to Medical School. I figure I will let this play out and see what happens. I'm just worried what I am going to do if I actually do get the job.
  20. Had a successful interview today. The woman on the phone said I would "very likely" be chosen for the next step, which not many people were chosen for. Very excited about this. It's a very prominent company.
  21. No problem. I found it on my way to Florida last year and have been hooked since. We actually bought it out of curiosity.
  22. Cucumber Lime Gatorade is the ultimate elixir man has put on this Earth. Seriously, go try it. Refreshing is an understatement.
  23. Buzz, How is the STX Surgeon treating you? What is the flex profile on it?
