Is the window showing the weights flush with the rest of the blade material or is it recessed?

Sweet! Whose training department?

The curve looks like a P89. Nice gentle heel curve with an open toe.

STNHL should me the stick is a Synergy ST. Mike

This story is why I will not argue with my fiancee over email, by text message, by BBM or over the phone. My rule is simple; Say it to my face and we'll chat. Put it in writing or across a phone line, I will not engage. Viewing body language and hearing voice inflection when arguing are huge.

Non-contact leagues, in my opinion, tend to be the dirtiest leagues to play in. It's like everybody knows there's supposed to be no contact, which given hockey's nature is impossible, so when you do make contact, be dirty because you'll probably get a penalty if the contact is anything more that "gentle". Slew-foots, two-handers and spears were quite common in my league. Having disinterested refs doesn't help either.

It's a shitty decision to have to make, eh? I got slew-footed, landed funny on my shoulder and ended up separating my shoulder. It killed me to walk away from the game (for 3 weeks) but I had to. When I got back to playing, I was tenative until the first contact without any pain, then I knew I was good to go. I never realized how many things in day-to-day life I took for granted with healthy shoulders.

My new Junkyard Athletic jersey.

The Pro Stock Dolomites are so much nicer than retail it's not even funny. The balance is amazing and feel thru the stick rivals my Morrow One95.

Right place at the right time. It was the only Team Canada stick that the seller had. I'm a Brenden Morrow fan so when I learned it was his stick, it was a no brainer. I'm told the Morrow stick was "tested" in practice before the qualifying round and the Toews stick was used in a qualifying round game but there's no proof to support this claim.

Just arrived, a game used Jonathan Toews Pro Stock Warrior Dolomite (DD graphics) and a brand new Brenden Morrow Pro Stock TEAM CANADA Warrior Dolomite. The Toews stick shows a fair bit of wear on the shaft. The curve is essentially a P92 clone but with a tiny bit of a twist at the toe. The Morrow stick has a sandpaper-like coating on the blade. The Morrow’s curve has a smidge less curve than a P92.

Cammalleri's curve looks Sakic-esque. Any idea what flex that stick is?

Pictures from the Blair Henry Charity Classic on December 19, 2009. We, the Mountain Instituion Hounds held the lead for the majority of the game but Kent Institution Chiefs won the game 6-4. It would have been great to win but there's no sour grapes on the loss since the point of the game was to raise money for a fallen officer. Warming up Game action Post game group photo Post game photo of me (with helmet on), my brother Cam (left side bald dude) and my buddy from work Steve. Great looking jerseys courtesy of Marcelo at SubliTWILL.

My girlfriend Nikki brought her camera along to my game on Sunday night.

Nice to see Jason Krog's stick in that group! Jason's a great player and better person. Mike

What's the scoop on the X60 stick over the XXXX stick? Lighter, stronger and more energy transfer to the shot?

Nice pics. That's really awesome of you guys to do for your buddy... :) Thanks Fletch. Sadly, Blair passed away on December 27th, 2008. His last two wishes were for his boys (Keith age 12 and Jordan age 11) to have a college education and to see one more Christmas with his family. The hockey game raised $6k for the boys' education fund and other fundraising efforts raised $3k for the boys' education fund. There are other fundraising efforts yet to be held so the $9k will grow larger. I'm deeply saddened by his passing but I'm pleased he got his last two wishes. Mike

Here are a couple shots of me (#19 in gold) playing in a charity hockey game. I'm a Federal Corrections Officer and my team played against a nearby prison's team made up of Correctional Officers. The game was put on to raise money for my good friend and fellow Correctional Officer Blair Henry that has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. The stands were pack (approximately 500 people). The money raised is going into an education fund for Blair's two boys. Mike

Good point but doesn't it amount to picking the fly crap out of the pepper? The graphics match would look weird if they did the swoosh in the traditional direction. Plus doesn't almost every other glove on the market have the same way of applying the graphics? Reason for edit: I just read the Avery quote under your post. I now understand why the logos bother you! LOL!! Mike

Helmet: Bauer HH 4000 – The HH 4000 fits my melon perfectly and protects me adequately. I tried a Vector 8 helmet and it fits a bit better so I may be moving in that direction. Visor: I don’t currently wear a visor but I know I should be wearing one. Maybe Santa will bring me one? Shoulder pads: Sher-Wood SP 5030 – I really like the SP 5030. They are the perfect shoulder pad for a guy playing Old Timers. Elbow pads: Bauer Shift – Light, comfy, protect well and fit great. Gloves: Black Out TPS Response R8 Pro Lite – I love the way TPS does the no-seam fingers on the index and pinky fingers. The R8 Pro Lite offers great protection and looks good too. Pants: Tackla 5000 – I like the close to the body fit of this pant. I also love the protection they offer. Shin pads: Bauer SP 8000 – Light, comfy, great protection and fantastic fit. Skates: Pro Custom Bauer Vapor XX in Pro Stiff – Buying a Pro Custom skate was truly the best decision I ever made. Since these skates are lasted to my foot I get an amazing fit. The durability of these skates is insane! They still look brand new!!! Stick: Bauer One95 (PM9) in 77 Flex – Beautiful balance, nice soft feeling blade but still durable. I like the way the low-mid flex point loads for snap shots and wrist shots.
