My ideal glove is a franchise then an AX1. I use the narrow franchise so the ax1 would be perfect. Never worn a pair but I’ve been looking and looking for an affordable pair. Nexus was too big for me haha.
-
Yeah exactly. May just get a pair of Bauer 1X Lite pro instead as I know how they fit.
-
True. I did buy the hg97 without trying them on and loved them but again it is a reputable brand.
-
Yeah I really really want eagles or another set of franchise 13Ns as mine are getting closer to the end of their life. But nothing is affordable right now. These are 50 so I was curious.
-
They were on sideline swap from a reputable seller. I know they are probably good but I got some verbero gloves and they were atrocious. Worst gloves ive ever spent money on. I know with CCM Bauer, warrior, stx even Sherwood I’m getting a good, high end product but I’ve seen most winwell stuff as lower end. If this is true I’ll prob order them.
-
I just was wondering some questions about these gloves or anybody’s experiences. I gonna few pairs for very cheap. Are they compatible to the CCM pro stock gloves or warrior franchise for fit? how is the protection and durability? are they a good quality, protective top end glove? thanks!
-
Same here. I love my EK15. It’s an amazing stick and the graphic is so cool. I get a lot of people asking if it’s wood haha
-
I’m assuming the one was added by a equipment manager then? It didn’t come from CCM that way? I may be completely wrong.

Hi! GO PRO STOCK! I can or recommend the CCM pro stock gloves enough in terms of protection. I had retail tacks and they were awful in comparison to the pro stocks. for a tighter fit look at the HGTK and for extra protection check out the HGTKXP or the ones with the built in shot blockers on the back. for bauer definitely look at the supreme line. I’ve heard retail and pro are fairly similar but they have a very tight fit. Poron I believe is in the 1S for sure and it’s very protective
-
I also forgot to comment that the sizing feels the same. They are tighter than my franchise (especially with the shot blocker).
-
Never had that model but I’ve had the 4 roll CCM pro stock (97/98) and the protection is phenomenal. XP is extra protection and it’s even more beefy. I own an oilers HG97PP which means backhand protection so it has a shot blocker and a HG98 which is ECHL stock with the Kevlar palm path for wear. Even without th XP these have D30 I believe and are extremely protective. Taken shots and nasty slashes and didn’t even feel it. I was in retail tacks and broke fingers as the D30 and padding is so thin it does nothing. Bauer from what I’ve heard their pro stock and retail is fairly similar in protection where CCM is night and day better and CHEAPER pro stock. Warrior I only own a pair of pro stock warrior franchise so I can’t comment on the retail side. Wore a Retail QRL in one game and they didn’t get tested. Wasnt a fan of the cuff

Super happy with these. Sadly not pro stock or 9144 but I’m super stoked. Jofa makes the best elbow pads in my opinion. Missed them. Time to sell my Bauer’s
-
Yeah that’s why I didn’t buy QLT at the time. I like the forearm protection. I’m miffed that my 2S cause me pain when I fall. They are amazing fit wise. The slash guard is amazing. I don’t want any pad with that sleeve. I tried 1S on and HATED IT. So I don’t want DX. yeah I may stop into the pro shop I bought them at and see if there’s something I’m adjusting wrong. I don’t want to get rid of them but this is the 4-5 time I’ve had a massive bruise and pain getting hit or falling on the side of my arm
-
The jofa numbering confuses me so bad. There’s a few pairs if jofa pads I’m looking at but I’m not sure which ones or pro stock or rent just a retail low end pair. They are expensive so that’s why I’m leaning towards tacks as I can try it on. But good to see they are great if I decide to go that way. yeah. The ones I want no stores in my city have the ones I’m looking for. And the other issue is the 2S felt fine but I didn’t realize it was going to dig in and cause bruises. I’m just a bit wary. It sucks because I love the pad I really do but the bruise is nasty and playing especially on my right arm hurts. It never really heals.
-
Yeah I’ve been leaning to the ultra tacks Or 20kTo be honest. They look fairly similar. The ultra tacks were on clearance at a store here but just sold out online. Would like to try it first but if it’s not possible I’ll order either or. Good to know about the straps on the Bauer’s. Lucky my supremes have been good
-
I currently wear 2S Pros but . They keep digging into my upper arm leaving a bruise if I fall or get hit there. I feel it’s a fit issue. If anyone has a solution I’d be happy to hear it as I love the feel of the pads. I had a severely broken elbow 2 years ago and want the best protection I can get. I’ve narrowed it down to a few choices. Bauer 1X Lite CCM Jetspeed FT1 CCM Ultra Tacks/super tacks CCM 20K Reebok 20K (not sure the difference both are used online I wore 11ks a long time ago so am curious) RBK 7k (probably not because the one I found condition is rough but I’d like people’s opinions) jofa 9177 (dunno about the long feature on them) Any other suggestions or how to stop my supremes from bruising my arm? Thanks!
-
Slides down. Small ones restricted my movement so they put me in mediums. And ya they don’t stay put well at all. The length, weight and protection is perfect tho.
-
Ok so I should stay away from the 4ks as they aren’t a pro level pad basically.
-
Ok I broke my elbow a few years back long boarding so I was trying to find the best, most durable pad. I just see how the pros use them so I figured the rbk/jofa is the best. But I have a feeling I’m going to stay in my Bauer’s. Thanks
-
Hi. I’m new to the pro stock stuff and I saw a pair of rbk 4k elbow pads. They are identical to the jofa 9135 from what I’ve learned and am curious if they are a decent elbow pad. I’ve heard the pros wear 7k/8k pads so I don’t think these are pro stock. I used to wear rbk elbows years ago but I have no idea what model they were other than they looked similar. can I get some insight on if these are decent, long lasting pads? I have 2S pros right now and like them, they are just slightly larger than I’d like.

https://imgur.com/gallery/x8DeDWK Oilers HG97PP. Super nice gloves.
-
For me it was the super tacks shin pads. I liked the protection and up until they cracked (only part of one season) I just couldn’t make them work. Can’t try my new pair yet. same with my quicklite shoulder pads. I wanted lighter weight ones but they weren’t protective at all. Went back to my 11ks and haven’t looked back.
