Nice snag on those Perrons! I never realized that cuff roll came so far down on the thumb on the AKs.

Supposedly the 2nd worst storm in 70 years is blowing into the great lakes region. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/news/display_cmsstory.php?wfo=lot&storyid=58925&source=0 http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2010/10/25/warning-high-winds-ahead/ I parked my car as far as I could from any trees tonight.

After pain falling several times falling with Bauer Supreme 30, I decided to give the Warrior Hitman elbows a try when I saw them on sale onlie. I have been using them since summer 2009. Fit I went with Medium and luckily they fit fine without trying them on. They fit snug on the elbow and don't move much at all with that "elbow cradle" (hole) for the point of the elbow. I really like the sling wrap, it's light and adds some extra support. The for arm strap adds lots of protection but isn't too stiff. The only thing I don't like is the bicep strap. It's made to integrate with the warrior line of shoulders. For me it's just too loose, unless I Velcro the elbows to my shoulder bicep cap and then use the shoulder strap on the elbows. That's too much and feels weird. 9/10 (only because of the bicep strap - that may be changed for the '10) Protection The protection seems great. I have hit the ice several times and not had a bit of pain with them. They have the soft outer cap that seems to adsorb impact really well. Way better than my previous Supreme 30s with a hard cap. After 1.5 years of use someone did get me with a blade on the forearm on Sunday, but I didn't even get a bruise. To me these elbows are long enough. 10/10 Weight I never think about them while playing. So I guess that's light enough. 10/10 Durability 1.5 years and they still look fine, the lining is intact, stitching is good, padding is still soft and no pilling. So I am happy again. 10/10 Intangibles The Hitman elbows are plenty low-profile and unobtrusive. They have never gotten caught on my jersey. All the Velcro lays flat and also doesn't catch on my jersey. Conclusion I am very pleased with the Warrior Hitman elbows. Like I said, I haven't had a bit of pain from spills on the ice in these and I fall enough. I don't give them a second thought when I am on the ice, they don't slide and they don't catch. So the Hitman has taken care of the three things that my old elbows did that bugged me. If it wasn't for the loose bicep straps these would get a perfect score from me. Overall 9.5/10

nice creepers. i'd really like to do a custom pair of those. i'd probably do almost the same set up in black w/ mesh gussets.

can people stop quoting photos? i doubt band-width is much of an issue for people anymore. It's just damn annoying.

The new transmission in my civic (replaced in july) is slipping a lot. Back to the damn dealership tomorrow.

I have been using this helmet for over a year. Fit Went down a size (M to S) in the 5100 coming from a Bauer 5000 or Itech H95. The fit was tight in the temples at first, I would end up getting head aches by the end of the first period. After about 2 months or so it broke in and got more comfortable. I did also put in some shorter screw posts for the cage hooks which helped. The foam is still soft and in good condition. The M in the 5100 just felt sloppy (loose) on the top/back of my head. Small put all the padding in contact with my head and felt secure. 8/10 Protection It seems pretty good to me. that being said, I play low level adult league, so I am not seeing checks or anything. I did get tangled-up with a guy going into the corner from about the top of the circle and we went sliding into the boards. I couldn't move anything and ended up taking much of the force on the top left side of the helmet. It didn't feel good, but I wasn't seeing starts either. 10/10 Weight It's lighter than my previous helmets. Though the weight isn't something I have thought about, so I guess that is light enough. 8/10 Ventilation It's better than the 5000 and the Itech. The honeycomb foam (Hx-Sorb foam) seems to allow a bit more airflow than the regular VN in the Itech and the EPP in the 5000. 8/10 Durability Over a year and I haven't had any problems. I kind of assumed the adjustment clips would break easily, but honestly I haven't had to adjust it too often and they seem fine. 10/10 Intangibles At first look, I thought the padding looked a little too minimal, but the open space in the top of the helmet probably helps the air flow. It sits a little lower on the head than the 5000 and seems less bulky than my Itech. The helmet was a little narrow for my Itech Fantom cage, but over time it seems to have stretched enough that everything fits. Conclusion I would buy this helmet again. It's light enough, has decent ventilation and a good price. Overall, 9/10, I'm very happy with the 5100.

the tranmission on my 2001 civic went last night. Blue book good condition trade-in value is $2500. Estimate for the transmission $1800 - 3000. So I'm in the market for a new or used car, this week! On top of the final weeks before my wedding, this was not a good time.

By ibeentired at 2010-06-18 Newest additions. I am pretty psyched about the nylon z-airs. This has become a sickness.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISup...em=290438515798 Got these XXX's in the mail yesterday (photo from ebay). First pair of Vapors and so far I love the fit! Too bad I won't be on the ice until probably August . Unless I can sneak in a stick n puck in sometime before that. I need to ban myself form ebay - there are a few more pair of gloves I'd like to add to my collection.
