It sucks when retail employees don't have a clue about their products

The nice thing about loctite is that you don't have to worry about them coming too lose and you don't have to really crank them tight. I probably have half a dozen Mission and Easton Robertson #2 screwdrivers. Worst case, they're only $5 or so for decent brand name ones.

I had a TSL60 for a while and played in a band with a guy that had a TSL100, In fact, I just saw him post his amp for sale on Facebook last week. Nice amps, once you get used to them.
-
How did you manage to strip them? I've never had a problem with a Robertson on anything.
-
Hard to believe that it has been three months. Sometimes it seems like forever, other times it seems like yesterday. I still almost expect her to walk through the door and this to all be a bad dream.

They aren't actives, they are the Burstbucker Pros from my Explorer. The pickguard was only off so that I could glue the bracket in place at the right angle.
-
I made a couple upgrades.
-
Not trying to scare you, just want to make sure people are fully aware of what they are doing.
-
Exactly, they aren't going to react the same way. Hell, Easton even tells you to change the time if using a different brand of skate oven.
-
MLX and Easton skates are not the same, and the times are very different now.

We don't post to keep the topic alive. The number of posts is evidence of interest in the product among the general public. One of the guys on my team is wearing shot blockers with his Makos
-
I'm shocked to hear it because I have forgotten to change spinners (100/50 and 95/75) and the guy in question immediately noticed it when he stepped on the ice. When I got home and checked, he was right, I used the wrong spinner.

That's about where I would rate it too. They had a lot of ground to cover with new characters, old characters and a couple new story lines. It was too much for a 2.5 hour movie to fully cover.
-
I've said it dozens of times, how can everyone they bring in be a bad fit with Sid? At some point it isn't everyone else that's the problem.

A lot of people squeeze the boot at the top of the ankle and think the fact that the Mako will pinch together means that it isn't supportive or stiff. They're used to Bauer style skates that are extremely stiff. It's a very poor way to try and judge the relative stiffness of a boot. The side panels in the Mako are very stiff and supportive, they are just designed to allow forward movement in the ankle.

No, they don't feel exactly the same. I have a bunch of guys on my team that may not be able to tell you what the numbers are, but they can tell you that they feel different. Most of the guys that I sharpen for said that the 100/50 didn't feel like it had as much bite when compared to the 95/75

The battery in my backup died a while ago and I never replaced it.
-
You will likely feel it. In my experience it's like skating on chewed up ice instead of smooth ice
-
I haven't seen it as an issue, but it isn't a bad idea to do it anyway. It is for the 9.5EE

Penguins fire Johnson and hire Mike Sullivan as coach. Oddly enough, Rutherford decided to wait for the team to finish a road trip and do it the day before they play a top team in their conference and start a busy stretch of their schedule. It seems like bad timing on the decision.

Electric went out three times in 5 minutes on Thursday night and it killed my desktop computer. Fortunately, it was only the motherboard that got fried and I am in the process of putting the data on my new computer. A much, much faster machine, but it's still a lot of work that I didn't want to do.
-
On the x/75 scale, 95/75 is the next step up in bite (compared to 90/75). Out of the 15 or so guys that I sharpen for; 1 uses 100/50, 3 use 90/75 and the rest use 95/75.

If you are thinking of doing that, I would try the step steel first. If that isn't enough, then have it profiled. Once you are comfortable, have the easton steel done to match.
