Sure you can..a few months might be pushing it if you're only doing your own skates a few times a month..unless you have a spare set of skates to work on constantly that you don't mind buzzing off lots of steel. It just takes a steady hand and some common mechanical sense to understand what you're doing. And in no time you'll be one handing the Final Pass. Also be sure to grab yourself a pro square or something similar to keep your edges square and level.

And some just never learn

Getting my goal skates redone for the first time. Normal ROH usually lasts me about 5-6 games. I've had 10 games on the FBV.

Anyone get the prestige edition with the NVGs?

Went to my LHS that has the FBV, but they have the 'retrofit' device for their Blademaster. As does the PIAS right down the road. Sorry for the blurry image.

Laraque wasn't with them when this happened iirc. This was years ago. Still pretty classic.

A shop near me just got the the BS setup, and I'm thinking about getting my goal skates done..what combo should I get for a 3/4 feel?

Not the Loops, the Clear Surlyn Ear pieces, and the screws/nuts

COMFY. Haven't used it on ice yet, but seems very cool and solid. The temples did seem a bit tight initially, but once I adjusted the length, and took out the Ear Pieces, fits like a Glove.

Let alone the guys voice is annoying enough to make my ears bleed. Can anyone confirm that they actually Did have that skate in Jan? Or could he be just blowing smoke to make their site and connections sound credible?

And where can i get one before that happens ;) jk

The fingers seem a tad longer, and the cuff flap extends further than the rest.

They're 14's. They're a Little more snug than the others..but not too bad. The cuff flaps are a little longer than I would prefer, but I haven't tried them with Elbow pads on yet, so I might not notice it in that respect.

Are the One95 the same Depth for the pencil test as the One75? I went to go try some on this weekend, and all they had were one75's, and I slightly failed the pencil test.

Got a question for this thread... I work at a rink, and we have an account at Perani's Flint store. I'm in need for some new, and most importantly better fitting skates, and I am going to Grand Rapids this weekend for a tournament, so I plan on hitting the Peranis store there. I have a list of skates I want to try on and get fitted for, (And WILL be bringing a pencil). My Question is, I've already talked with our rep at Perani's, and she said that once I figure out what I need, to call her and tell her and she'll send them to me, and if she doesn't have them in Flint, she can have the GR store send them either to her and then to me, or right to me. If she does have what I end up finding a right fit for, how much of a tip should I give the guy at the GR store, even though I'm getting them from the same 'Chain'? My list is about 6 different skates, and two different sizes. I also plan on getting a few other smaller items regardless of the skates, and possibly a Goal Blocker if they have what I'm looking for.

Any rough idea on what the MSRP on the pants will be yet?
