I hear you on that one, I think that 9k is a great looking skate because it holds that classic design while adding some style to the skate. I enjoy the change at the rear of the skate, the piece of "bling" on the back of last years 9k killed me, especially when I considered buying the white versions. as for the XXXX's they to me, are the the staple in cheap looking design (esp considering they are made in china). I just cant get my head past that silver design, just to much going on at once... esp the tendon guard (jesus christ is that ugly... not as bad as the ones on my one90's but a chromed out tendon guard thing where the hell did that come from?) edit: the tendon guard on the one95 is a nice step up I couldn't agree with what you said more. I have always appreciated "classic" skates and their simply aestetics....I think that RBK builds on the classic look with a small modern twist.

If I hadn't JUST gotten my new X72's...I'd get those knit ones in a heart beat!!! :(

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
Spreedizzle replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
That RBK 7K conversion you posted there looks kinda familiar.... ;) The combination performs amazingly well. I have been hooked on the 7K ice boots for over a year now, and the Sprung conversion on them is great. For anyone that plays ice in the RBK series.....I would highly recommend this conversion for inline. :D- 2846 replies

From the looks of it.....the stretch palm of the XX's is dead? And the stretch will only be carried going forward in the One90 glove?

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion

I understand the dremmeling issue to accomodate the taller wheels in the midfoot area. But will I need spacers in the heel to give me the same pitch as I have with the Code 1's??- 2846 replies

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
Spreedizzle replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
So the boots on my Code 1's are starting to get a little torn up and we are coming into the winter and a potential time of boredom. I have a pair of Vector 8.0's laying around and would love to throw a Labeda Hum'er Cateye chassis on there. I know that I will need to shave the forefoot area to allow the 80mm wheels to recess into the footbed, but my question is will I need to install spacers in the heel to give my skate the same stance as I currently have on my Code 1's?? Anyone have any insight??- 2846 replies

Those are the last pair of Tacks that I owned before this Vector crap came out. They are missed. The only pair of skates that I have found since that rival them in regards to comfort and fit are the RBK 7K's.

The good news is that if you get to the outside, and blow past a D man in these that they should be so overcome with self reflection that they break down on the rink and cry like an 8 year old school girl that just lost at 4 square.- 2846 replies

SOOOO Glad that they are bringing a car like the GT-R to the states. Too long NA has had to get watered down versions of performance cars that reign supreme in Japan. Our time has come, and it is wonderful!!! Not saying that I am going to sell the house to get the car or anything, but it sure is nice to have something like this on our shores. Now that Nissan has unleashed it's beast, and the new IS-F and coming from Lexus....the horsepower wars from imports (aside from German cars) will now begin in the States.

What type of business are you/your family in? And then....are you hiring?? :)

I'm in the same boat as you. Worked to purchase all of my vehicles, and made sensible purchases. My Tacoma is a 4 cylinder, 2WD, 5 spd extended cab....nothing spectacular. But that 4 banger from Toyota will last forever, and I still get 27mpg out of the truck.

I drive a 2000 Tacoma....nothing special. Dad on the other hand just retired and spoiled himself with a 2008 Porsche 911 Carerra 4S Cabriolet in the Metallic grey with the grey interior. The good news is that he crested over 2000 miles about 3 weeks ago, so we can now enjoy the boxer 6 up to its redline. :P

Being gay....personally I don't have a problem with people that are gay. What I do have a problem with is gay people that feel like flaunting it in a simply disgusting manner for nothing more thank shock value. That I simply have ZERO respect for.
