Never liked the look of the that era Monte Carlo. Plus, I find that GMs of the early 2000s are crap. They just weren't trying at that point.

The Streets - a british rapper who sounds very different but it's all very relatable. The album "A Grand Don't Come for Free" is tremendous as a cohesive piece. It follows the course of one of his relationships, from the moment they meet, to the the great times, to the times when he suspects something is wrong, to the explosion when he finds out she's been cheating with one of his friends, to his healing and recovery. I love an album that tells a story and this one does it well. You just have to listen a few times to catch it all b/c of the slang. Brits on this board can back me up. -
I don't get it either. Musta said something different pre-edit...

If you're in the mood to party Justice is quite badass. "A Cross the Universe" is a great album and many of you will recognize the song "Genesis" from the Cadillac commercials... I might as well add some others I like TV on the Radio Kings of Leon Vampire Weekend Cool Kids Girl Talk (although it's getting a little old) Cut Copy MGMT Of Montreal Wilco The Streets Animal Collective My Morning Jacket Flaming Lips And for just one song, a group called Vile Richard. Their song "Hockey Song" is a classic! -

It's not new but I just started listening to She & Him, which is Zooey Deschanel (of Elf fame) and M. Ward. It's probably not going to click with the young crowd but Zooey's got an amazing voice. What I think of as real country music, almost sounds like it's from 50s or 60s...not like what passes for country music these days. -
Sports Plus, eh? What division?

Those are beautiful. Some of the nicest looking skates I've ever seen.

Haha, ok. You never know with equipment. Seems like some old gems are still preferred to lots of the new stuff. Thanks for the info.

Are those gold aluminum Eastons good sticks. I'm somewhat new to hockey so I don't remember them. My friend who hasn't played in years has a couple of them in his house and prolly wouldn't mind parting with them. What would they go for on here?

Here's the GT3RS I drove: http://www.demanmotorsport.com/sales/listing.php?id=53 Even though I want a 993, I would consider this car. Seinfeld's 993 TTS is on ebay again. I would definitely be interested in that car if there wasn't a $60k premium on it. EDIT: drool I like how in the description the guy says he has the original title w/ Jerry's name on it. I just keep thinking of the Jon Voight episode of Seinfeld...

Best Hip Hop act right now is The Cool Kids. If you like something different than all the BS rap that's out now, this is a breath of fresh air. The link is to their myspace. Play "Black Mags". Enjoy. -
I'm somewhat new to hockey (about 4 years) and I see those Oakley's from time to time. What's the deal with those? Are they quality? Are they rebadged?
-
Haha. I'm actually not playing this session (no $$$ til I find a job). Unfortunately I'm usually a 1/2" or 9/16". I may have to switch to 5/8" if it ensures a quality sharpen ;)

 I learned at a LHS in MI when I was in HS. A few months back I remembered that Gramps (whose been gone for a few years now) had an old rig he built in his garage. Sure enough it was still there so I hauled the critical parts back to Cincy. I built a new table and bought a Wissota holder and I'm in heaven. Gramps built a solid rig but as of now I'm limited to 5/8" - 1" ROH. Two guys on my team now do their own skates and I do the rest....provided they aren't on 1/2" ROH. Oh and I will never charge $$$, I'm just going to get out of the beer rotation. ;) Not having to get your skates sharpened at Sports Plus=PRICELESS

Thanks. No time to try now but I appreciate the help.

Right now I'm listening to this dj called Amp Live. He mixed some hip hop over Radiohead's latest album w/ some pretty sweet results. You can listen to some of the songs on his myspace page. -
those gloves are nasty. I'm prolly gonna upgrade soon and custom gloves have definitely been on my mind...
