As a Reds fan, these were maybe the 4 most frustrating games I've watched in a long time. I think they quit and coasted into the AS Break, which will probably come back to bite them come playoff time. I don't care what month it is, you can't leave 4 wins on the table like that.

I've never heard of a perforated palm like that. Do any retail gloves have that? Perforated palms and mesh gussets sound kind of awesome to me.

A lot of the singles leaking out from Big Boi's new album are pretty strong. I think it's gonna be a good one; drops on July 7th I think.

Totally agree with you, it won't stop me from getting them. I just thought it was a little strange. If I pick them up I'll probably do what Harte suggested. Still a very sweet pick up. I've got the matching socks and have been wanting the gloves for a while. Funny how a $12 pair of socks will now result in a $120 glove purchase...

I love those UMaine gloves and may still order a pair, but I think it's kinda lame that they put TSR on the cuff .

Looked under the hood and the radiator fan was running. Is it an issue of it running at the correct times, or does the mere fact that I saw it working mean that possibility is eliminated?

Any car-savvy individuals running around here? I'm having an issue with my '03 Nissan Frontier. Whenever I'm driving, the temperature gauge sits right in the middle. However, if I get stuck in traffic or a long stop light and have to idle for a bit, the temp gauge goes waaaaay up. Then, when I start driving again, it goes back to normal. I know it's some sort of air flow issue. Anybody know what could be going on? I'm not exactly rich right now so I'd love to give fixing it myself a go if it's not too complicated. Thanks!

I think he means that it may be unwise/irresponsible to spend so much money on sticks while your family's financial situation seems to be a bit shaky, but since we don't know the whole story that may be a bit presumptuous. If you make your own money and bought them yourself, more power to you.

Great send off for Modano if that was his last game. Feels really weird to see him retire though, he was drafted when I was 4 years old and I'm 26 now.

That's how I've been approaching it so far. I basically try to stay out of it and not sweat it too much. This kid is a little off his rocker though. He already threatened to kill himself when they first broke up and I know he has the means. I don't know this chick that well and part of me just wants to say f*ck it and dip out. This pales in comparison to some of the other vents and I hope things work out for you guys. Anyway, played a team tonight that we have a little history with. Their goalie was late so we agreed to wait for him to get ready, didn't start playing until 15 mins left in the first. The guys on the other team were really appreciative. After the game gets going we're starting to run away with it. Nothing crazy, the final was 7-2. They decide they're bored with trying to win so they just start headhunting with about 10 mins left in the game. A few shoving matches break out but no fights. At the end of the game they're all bitching in the handshake line, complaining that we're ringers even after we were nice enough to wait on their goalie to get ready. That was annoying but what are you gonna do. The real vent is that when I go to leave my backup stick is stolen from outside our dressing room. We were the only two teams left in the rink at that point so I know it was someone on their team that took it. It's not a super nice stick (Inno Maniac) but I know they only did b/c they were pissed they lost. Bunch of b*tches... Other vent: dating a new chick and her ex is being a total dbag. Calls almost 50 times a day sometimes, often more than once in the same minute (she doesn't answer). You guys ever deal with this BS? I'm not sure what my move should be. Part of me wants to say something to him but I've been staying out of it so far.

I can't imagine my girlfriend getting her haircut where I get mine cut. Either you have a low maint girl or you are a high maint dude :P
