Still baffled by that goal, David. :o

Not sure how many of you are into music like this, but after hearing one of his songs on Drake's So Far Gone mixtape, I gave him a listen. His name is Gonzales, and he's a pianist from Canada. Great music, if you're into it. http://music.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseact...lbumid=13479197

Post = tweet. TJ Oshie does not have Twitter. The account was determined to be a fake.

I think ridiculous could qualify as an understatement.

Well, I just finished the campaign. I normally don't start it until a little after I get the game. I did it all today, and all I can say is WOW. So man unexpected turns of events, and it had me with my jaw dropped for most of the game. I mean, I fought on I-95?! We DRIVE on that road all the time. It's crazy. And the Washington, DC scene...crazy

Good on you for helping a kid and giving him a stick, but next time help him with something actually useful, like seeing the rink, and how to make a great tape to tape lead pass. I was there for close to two hours, I went over a lot with him, defensive mechanics, why it isn't too smart to do the move in a game, but rather just as a fun thing, things like that. The simple things. Doesn't hurt that he also has two older siblings who happen to be quite good at hockey, one of them being female, and hot.

I'll add myself in here. I was playing some puck at the local outdoor rink, and there were some young ones there as well, probably 9-10 years old. One of the kids, who showed some serious potential, was doing a Michigan, but stationary. I decided to give him a few pointers (how to do it while moving, the risks of doing it, etc), and told him if he could do one skating before I left, I'd give him one of my sticks I had with me. Low and behold, about fifteen minutes later, he's got my Easton "S17" (CNT actually)/Vapor XXXX blade combo. I think I made his life. He was so happy.

Too much curve for me, but 80 flex = perfect.
-
Is that Shannon an 82 flex? What's the curve like on it? Nice pickups.
-
Wouldn't be surprised. It would explain a few things. They're definitely similar, Feds was a Graf user in the past, and the skate fits like a Bauer 9.5, not a Mission. And I correct myself, Sprung A7's, not A8's.
-
New boots came today thanks to skooled. Getting mounted on Sprung A8's now. http://yfrog.com/10skates1j http://yfrog.com/17skates2j http://yfrog.com/j8skates3j

Not necessarily. There is nothing wrong with the roller skates that are out today. They're very well built, and hey, some people even do opposite conversions and convert roller boots to ice. It all has to do with personal preference. People who have grown up on ice skates feel more comfortable in ice skates. And when you're not spending your money on pants, and shoulder pads, you have some extra money in your pocket to spend as well.

Shouldn't you change your 'tar? lol, way to rain on his parade. Low, JR. Low. But on the real, haven't gotten around to it. I know it has to go haha.

It's gotten heat for a couple weeks now, but not as much as I figured. At least it gives you the option to skip it. First saw the video on YouTube of the first disturbing mission, and was in awe the whole time. And when the end came, I was in shock.

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
EBondo replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
Not sure about the first question, but the second question depends on how busy, or lazy your shop is. My skates were done in about three hours. I dropped em off, went to school, came back and picked em up.- 2846 replies

After close to three hours of gameplay so far, all I can say is WOW. I'm almost speechless.

Anybody camping out for Modern Warfare 2 tonight? Heading over to my local Best Buy in about an hour and a half or so. Can't wait.
-
Week should be good. Getting my new phone (Moto Droid :D ), new skates, Modern Warfare 2 comes out on Tuesday and I'm camping out for that. And to top it all off, pay-day is on Friday and I'm expecting a HUGE check...sweet

Nice nice. You guys good?
-
\Nice, couple friends of mine go there, one of which plays puck there. Will Leonetti? He played Flyers Youth back here.
-
Well Forsberg played 60 games in 05-06, Gagne 72. 06-07 was a different story though.
-
Gagne needs someone to get him the puck in a decent scoring position, but can finish once he has the puck. He isn't an Ovechkin or Lemieux that can seemingly score at will, but he has never really had a great playmaking center in Philly to work with. And please, don't get me started on Hitchcock and his coaching style. I think Forsberg was obviously one of the best he had. Not hard to question that one, and it's a shame he was hurt so often

Great game, Phillies.......

I said it before, however, you can say what you want about the hit, but the ruling went down, and no suspension or fine was handed out. That means the play is over, and life goes on. You can tell it was still bothering him if you watched him last night against the Sharks - he sucked. The entire team sucked. Hopefully they can pick their game back up and steal one from Washington tomorrow.
-
At the time, obviously not. After the game however, you could tell he was remorseful. I don't think he was even ready for the magnitude of the hit. Did you see any of the post-game interviews?
