  1. I need a change of scenery in the worst way possible. Stuff going on in the family, and stress from school and work are killing me right now. I'm physically, and mentally exhausted. I'm most likely failing two out of four classes this semester because I cannot take the teacher to save my life. I think one person is passing in my math class, and my history professor sits at his desk for an hour and fifteen minutes just talking. I can't learn like that. I feel like I have no friends because I'm in bed at 9:30 every night because I have to get ready for work the next morning at 4:30 or 5 am. At this point, nothing would make me happier than getting out of here, and far away. I wish I could live at the Atlantis. Life is perfect there... Had to get it off my chest. /vent.
  2. Pens did dominate the play ( :o I'm a FLYERS fan!). But, once again, the referees didn't help. The disallowed goal, which I thought was BS, the thrown stick at Giroux on his breakaway, and then the overall suckiness of Flyers goaltenders. But I'm with you on the Cooke comment. 100%. If there's a player I hate almost as much as Crosby, it's Cooke. Or Kunitz.
  3. I'm not trying to get into an argument about the game because I'm simply disgusted from it, but how about the cross-check from Fedotenko on the same play?
  4. There we go. Glad to hear you're enjoying them, though.
  5. Apparently he's going to start tomorrow. Nice. Throw the kid his first NHL start against the Pens.
  6. I still think Gagne has some good to offer, and his heart is there. I think his incident with Volchenkov proved that. On the other hand, I think Brian Boucher is hockey's version of Brad Lidge.
  7. Got back on the rink tonight ^_^ . Picked up two goals and an assist, although we still lost. Oh well, it felt good to get back out there. We'll see how I feel tomorrow.
  8. This is absolutely, the worst fucking officiated game I have ever seen in my young life. Excuse my language, but this is pathetic.
  9. Thanks for the well wishes guys, really appreciate it. To starsfan and junior, my well wishes are extended to your family members and neighbor as well.
  10. As if I didn't need anything else going on in my life right now, my dad comes home from work today and tells me my cousin has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Not sure if it's Hodgkin's or Non-Hodgkin's yet, but some of you might recall, my sister just got over having Hodgkin's Lymphoma in December, after a year and a half of treatments for it. I'm getting sick of this shit. It's ridiculous.
  11. The entire tournament is ridiculous. I'm doing TERRIBLE this year, and I had a GREAT bracket last year. As long as Kentucky wins, I'm good.
  12. Wooo for quoting five pictures..... MAI INTERNET. IS TEH SLOWW
  13. I was the same way in the original MW as well. I started out playing for KD, but as soon as I went negative a couple games I said screw it
  14. My main reason I get so pissed off at campers, is because my friends and I are different kinds of players. I like to run around like Rambo just shooting anything. Hence why my K/D is only a 0.86
  15. I think there would be a couple takers for Hartnell, provided the Flyers were only looking for draft picks in return. We all know this draft doesn't compare in talent to some in previous years, so Hartnell should be better off next season than a lot of the 2010 draftees. EDIT - Especially if he can produce another 30-30 season like he did last year Montreal's goalies have been rumored to go everywhere. Just my .02 cents, but I DO NOT want Carey Price. That guy is way too inconsistent. He gets eaten alive in Montreal, imagine Philly. It's no better. I could also see the Flyers trying to bring back Niitty.
  16. My solution, while I don't know how logical it really sounds, would be to trade Hartnell, and Boucher at the draft for a pick or two. Free up some money, get a draft pick, which the team is starved for. Go out, re-sign Leighton, and go after Peter Budaj. He could be had fairly cheap, and although I don't know much about him, he seems to be a solid goaltender. Has a winning record in his career, playing for a Colorado team that's been pretty sloppy the last however many years.
  17. Welp. There goes my hope of the Flyers making it to the playoffs. http://flyers.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=358...vid=DL|PHI|home Leights is out 8-10 weeks.
  18. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=314462 Some notes on the game tonight.
  19. Underpass, Rundown, Afghan, take your pick.
  20. Exactly what I was thinking. What flex are those?
  21. 15 bucks is a little steep in price. But I loved the two maps they're bringing from COD4, so I'll be buying. Plus, I was starting to get sick of all the camping that's going on in the game's current state. Seems I would play two games, get pissed off, and go to Midnight Club: LA instead.
  22. ...Which is almost exactly what many have said about the Flyers.
  23. That was by far, the most entertaining Flyers game I have watched in a long time.
  24. Damn. Eighth popped knee tonight in five years. A torn ACL is on the list two from a few years back. Second popped kneecap in a little over two months. Time to start weighing my options...... http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index...mp;#entry775184
  25. This is exactly why I was hesitant on getting Emery/Boucher as our goalies in the first place. I wasn't sure if Emery could handle the workload after playing a year in Russia. I knew Boucher was gonna tank the first day I saw him signed. I think Leighton is a ticking time bomb. As long as the Flyers do not have a clear-cut number one goaltender, they will not be able to compete. There is so much wrong with this team this year If Carter played this way the first half of the year, who's to say he wouldn't have 50 goals by now? What about Hartnell? He's pretty much played his way off the team and I wouldn't be surprised to see him dealt at the draft. Coburn hasn't played as well this year. Injuries still have hurt them. Gagne's best hockey is behind him (although he doesn't seem to think so, with the way he's been playing). They're close, but as long as thhey get goalies who are only capable of backup duty, they'll never win a Cup
