Pretty sure it would be good for more than one reason. First, it would light Richards' fire I'm sure. Secondly, this team needs a change, and soon. Boucher hasn't played badly outside of last nights game in relief for Emery, but it doesn't help when you aren't getting any support from your offense. And to the D comment, you can add Giroux in there most nights.

I was talking with my friend earlier today saying they will be fine as soon as Emery gets healthy, because they were playing well before he got hurt. It seems as soon as he got hurt the pipes just broke down...now, I'm not so sure. A team like this should easily be competing with Pittsburgh and New Jersey. And I thought they would have some momentum after that comeback win last night...

Hartnell can produce, sure. But no one is going to want his act that comes along with it. The stupid penalties are getting to everyone now.

We finally got the news we were waiting for since June of 2008. My sister, who had been battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma since then, is finally in remission. Thank God.

Went into work this morning...no hot water, eight inches of water in the basement ruining about $250 of Christmas presents my boss had stored down there. And to top it all off, we had two power outages within the first half hour of us being open. Wasn't too fun. Now I have my German final tomorrow, and a history department exam on Islam to do tomorrow. Fun... <_<

Great start to my roller hockey season. 2 games so far, 6 goals and 4 assists, identical 3/2 games. We're 2-1 as a team.. Apparently I had one of the greatest goals the rink has ever seen tonight. The puck is rolling towards the net, so I get a stick on it before the other team can get it and take it back up the rink. I bat it skating backwards with one hand on the stick, through my legs, through the goalie's five-hole. I was just as shocked as everyone in the rink was. And later on I set up a goal as I was falling down, perfect shot-pass to a teammate's stick. Edit - Now that I get home, I'm told I had another goal and possibly another assist on the scoresheet, so maybe 12 points in 2 games. Not too shabby.

Wonder if laviolette lit a fire under their asses today...they're playing great right now

He was still taking stupid penalties. Just no where close to the pace he was doing last year. Holmgren apparently hasn't called anyone up, at this time. Either he's doing it tomorrow right before game time or we're playing one man short.....

Cha..you wont believe this: The NHL has suspended Flyers forward Dan Carcillo four games for his role in a fight that earned him a whopping 29 penalty minutes and a game misconduct :o Fixed. And thank God Should have been at least 10 games, but it's a start. The sad thing is he actually made a nice play early in the game, led to their first goal if I remember correctly. Correct. He has his flashes of brilliance, but his dumb plays overshadow them about 5-1.
