He was still taking stupid penalties. Just no where close to the pace he was doing last year. Holmgren apparently hasn't called anyone up, at this time. Either he's doing it tomorrow right before game time or we're playing one man short.....

Cha..you wont believe this: The NHL has suspended Flyers forward Dan Carcillo four games for his role in a fight that earned him a whopping 29 penalty minutes and a game misconduct :o Fixed. And thank God Should have been at least 10 games, but it's a start. The sad thing is he actually made a nice play early in the game, led to their first goal if I remember correctly. Correct. He has his flashes of brilliance, but his dumb plays overshadow them about 5-1.

With the $12 they have left under the cap, what do you expect them to do? Wishful thinking of finding a way to get Biron back...... It's hard to say how much they will have to spend with the long term injury exemptions. Biron only makes $1.4, so it may be possible. That would amount to Flyers management admitting to a mistake, especially given the way Biron left the organization. I had thought it was extremely dumb from the get-go to let both goaltenders lost. I knew Niitty was going to go to Tampa Bay even before July - just a gut feeling. Biron though, he was a fan favorite, even through his bad stretches, but he was affordable. He went to NY to make $1.4 million. I don't get what was going on in the Flyers management office. But I figure, with DiPi coming back soon-ish, someone from NY is going to be available, and the Flyers have to be moronic to not consider it.

Possibly another twist. ESPN was reporting Richards resigned as captain, but then retracted their story according to one of the Flyers Writer's Twitter.

That's the first thing I thought. Of course we had heard the Stevens might be on the hot seat, but I don't think anyone thought it could happen this soon. I'm not too fond on promoting Berube. Laviolette seems like a good fit.

This all happened real fast - which would lead me to believe that they had already had someone lined up to success Stevens. TSN is making it seem like Laviolette has already been named head coach. However, CSN Philly isn't reporting anything yet, just that there will be a news conference at 8:00 PM

Well...I basically called it...Stevens is out. No word on the replacement yet. Have heard either Laviolette or Berube.

ACR = My classes are the ACR with whatever dot I have now....SCAR-H with holographic and heartbeat, and an M16/red dot sight. My sister uses the last two classes. Yeah she plays, she isn't too shabby at it either.

JR, me, and Race4LastPlace just played for a good hour, all domination. We were pretty much tanks and didn't lose until the last game :( JR - step your game up!!! ;) Amazingly, a guy went 64 kills/2 deaths on one game and nuked the map to finish it off just as I had captured an area. http://twitpic.com/r1stk
