  1. It's designed to be their lower kick "Vapor" style. So far I'm underwhelmed, especially considering the MSRP. It's good, but far from great.
  2. Hockey Day in America ends a pretty good week.
  3. I know a guy and was lucky enough to get to try one. I'll get a few ice times on it before I get some concrete opinion.

  5. That black heel is so much nicer.
  6. Didn't you have a separate thread about this? If you had purchased your skates from a reputable dealer, Easton would be replacing these for you.
  7. Definitely brown and orange. And beautiful.
  8. Pickups from WF weekend New size 50 PPF X805s New Tackla 5000 NHLs in lovely purple Compuware Syn800s in 13" and 14" New Talon 90Pros Honeybaked DT2s
  9. Gift from a friend and former player. Any idea what year it's from?
  10. I'd say yes. These skates expand to accommodate feet. regarding the arch: are you using stock footbeds? If so, perhaps they are not tied tight enough. secondarily I'd put in a more substantial footbed and see if it cures the problem.
  11. I have a lefty just like it labeled Foote as well. Maybe the factory term, a la Darby or Kariya? Every Foote stick I've seen was a P5
  12. Any dealer selling Mako skates should be able to call Easton and have a new pair sent.
  13. Sorry to derail but any blades in the sale?
  14. I thought they were at the bottom of the Hudson. Nice!
  15. I have a wide, very flat foot. I've been skating in 8.5D (same size as Bauer) and after some spot stretching had no difficulty at all.
  16. Or rivets too long for the job at hand.
  17. Used/consignment is a terribly difficult market. Best of luck!!!
  18. I wear an 8.5D, but tried on an 8EE that felt almost identical. Personally I like my skates as small and tight as comfortably possible. Perhaps try the EE's one half size smaller.
  19. Keep in mind this is a boot that is meant to be fit somewhat snug. I have an E width foot, and after baking, I have no width issues in D width Makos. How snug is your foot in the current Eastons you have?
  20. I'm 50/50 on this one. As a Blues fan, DP always had potential to make a big play of score a big goal, but held on to the puck too long trying to do too much. Seems the consensus is Edm got the better of this deal. What can StL expect from Paajarvi? I'm not overly familiar with him.
  21. More likely too long, because the sole is so thin.
  22. I generally wear EE Bauers, and after molding D Makos I have no issue. Sometimes it's a tight squeeze getting them in but no fit issues.
  23. Me. Spot heating and pushing out the arch makes a world of difference.
