twistoffate19 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2005 I was at the National Sports in Windsor yesterday. I was looking at the Vapor XXX's they had when I noticed a shiny blue stick. It was Easton's "The One". The graphics are really sweet looking, and the blue paint job is sweet too. It's listed at over 500 grams, but it felt extremely light (well balanced). $119.99 CDN. They had Gaborik, and Lidstrom patterns. All 95 flex. I think I may go purchase one for my summer league and try it out.

Chadd 916 Report post Posted April 24, 2005 im pretty sure there isnt one guy in college hockey using that easton stick Just like the fact you're not likely to see someone using a Vapor V OPS in a high level game.

Wasn't there a guy on BC using a vapor X stick? Is that a shaft? All the roman numerals bauer has are so confusing. But more importantly than that, if someone can use unreleased sticks, why on earth would you bother getting a not as good stick, unless there was something different, like the sher wood momentum. I know one guy on Sweden's U18 team was using a Vapor VI OPS. One of their better guys too, just food for thought

Chadd 916 Report post Posted April 24, 2005 One of the top players in Western Canada uses a Vapor VII shaft with a crappy blade. I've also seen a Jr. A player who plays for the Thornhill Thunderbirds who uses a Vapor V OPS.. And I know a jr B player who likes the Fury OPS. I still haven't seen a low end OPS or new low end shaft at the highest levels of competition.
