I've got to say, I love the look of these skates both schemes. This is the first time I have been really excited about a mission skate in about 3-4 years. No dna! The money is already set aside :)

Nice work J and crew

Apparently I am the only person that will miss DNA; I really liked the DNA setup.

The new skates do look nice though especially the Quatro, hopefully these will hold up better than the 950's I have now. My first pair of 950's creased and my second pair seems to be doing the same, but not as badly. After 3 games for the first pair, and 4 games for the second pair.

Can someone post a larger picture so we can get a look at the intimate details?

Or maybe post a link to one? I'd be happy to host the image if you need somewhere to do so.

The front do not have graphics....They are carbon fiber hubs....It is the Zero G from Hyper...These wheels are extremely light, grippy, and durable...These wheels will retail for close to $20 per wheel....$160.00 for a set of wheels...

I told you guys in a previous post that we were putting the absolute best of everything into this skate...No corners were cut on making this skate....Composite Ankle Counter, Wick-Dry Pro Clarino Liner, Microfiber quarters, Texcel Internal stiffeners, Carbon Fiber Outsole, Magnesium Chassis, Titanium 688 bearings, Oversized eyelets rings (to eliminate any pulled out eyelets), Formo internals (longer lasting, stiffer, and heat moldable), and the list goes on and on......

These types of improvements are not just for our top of the line skates either...They go all the way down to our entry level skates....Wait till you see the gloves, pants, goalie, and girdles.....

Justin,

Are the toecaps ventilated? I can't make out if they are. That is a feature that I have come to demand from roller skates. It doesn't seem like much, but I feel they make a huge difference while playing, and also while drying them out after games.

last yrs helium line didn't have ventilates toe-caps. i've seen a few posts regarding these skates not havin them, but its not new this year. I was disappointed my 950s weren't ventilated, i liked my old ventilated missions...

i agree, if they are 400 ill get a pair, if not, ill most likely stick to my hi-ho silvers, unless these skates are just that good

that is a little to crazy for my taste. $20 a wheel is nuts... even if i got the skate i wouldn't want to be skating on $20 wheels. i can't see how better those are to rinkrats blueflames and i have a hard enough time trying to convince myself to pay $9 for them. i think mission is pulling out all stops to put together a top of the line skates to beat all others but won't be affordable enough to most of us. Is like intel coming out with the extreme line or AMD coming out with the FX line. I predict that this new white mission skate is meant for bragging rights but their second top of the line skates will really be their "top of the line" skate in their own eyes for retail. i think that skate will be like the D1C but will be even more limited or cost well over $400... but hey prove me wrong...

It looks good, chances are I'll pick them up around christmas like I did my he950s. But chances are I'll also have dynastys on them within a month ;x

The lack of a ventilated toe cap didn't bother me at all. In jersey we have some amazingly hot buildings, even in the cooler months, and I haven't had a problem at all.

One question Justin, why the moving away from swiss bearings?

Id had my eye on some Pro-R's with the ice boot for ages.... now i think ive changed my mind! i think i might just have to wait a bit and see what these skates are like!

Are they lighter than the 950's?

Yes, they are lighter than the 950's....The boots between the two are fairly close in weight, but overall the skate is lighter than the 950's....

Don't quote me on the $20 per wheel....I am not exactly sure....We went away from swiss bearing on the high end, since we were able to acheive the same results with the Titanium bearings, and save a bit of weight....Every gram counts.....
