LegoDoom 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2005 I didn't like the Razr, too wide and didn't fit my hand well. I got an LG 5450 and I like it. Camera sucks but who cares. I bought a cable for it that lets you use any MP3 or midi file as a ringtone and upload background pictures for free, so that's pretty nifty. I just didn't see the need to spend several hundred dollars on a phone. I don't even need the cable, I just use a bluetooth modem to connect to my computer. If you're thinking about buying one, I'd wait a bit. the price has already dropped but next year or probably close to christmas time it will be bumped to 199.99 and the year after it will be free with a plan...but by then they will have something else out on the market. And just another piece of info I got from our oakley rep, THUMP 2...oakley glasses with built in cell phone. I have no idea when and how much but thats all he told us. I went and bitched and said I'd go to bell if they didn't offer me something good. I got 150 Local, 100 US/Canada long distance, 1000 evenings + weekends, extended evenings (start at 6PM instead of 8PM), voice mail, and conference calling for 25 bucks a month :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Bell ad was 100 local, 100 long distance, unlimited evenings and weekends for 30 a month, and a free phone on a one year contract. The phones they offered were all the 1.5, 2 year old models and only one even had a color screen. I said "What are you guys going to give me to make me stay with Telus?" so they said hold on, got on the phone, the department is called "Loyalty and Customer Retention", it's basically their goal to make sure you stay with Telus. First they said "OK, we'll give you the bell plan for 25 a month and a free phone with a 2 year contract." I said no, you have a 6.95 service fee every month so that's more than Bell would cost. I just bartered with her on the phone for about 40 minutes till I got what I wanted.My Brother was on a 3 year contract with Telus that expires next week and we're going to do the same thing, tell them to give you something good to make you want to stay with Telus. Be confident and firm and you should be able to get things your way. Now the keyboard turns blue when I press the hang up button but the Hello Moto screen doesn't pop on. The phone was fully charged when it died. I had a 2 year contract with Rogers that ends in august 2007 and now I'm wondering what will I have to do. Anyone has ideas on what they will tell me?? hockeyherb 1 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 Those things are dirt cheap everywhere now. You can probably replace it for next to nothing but might have to sign another contract. I'd go into a Rogers store and check out what they can do for you. It's still a good phone even 2 years after you got it.
