The whole idea is to buy itech products. I don't see how you can say it's too much to get something free. We should be glad the offer is there at all.

In all actuality, this offer is great, it will hopefully hook some people on itech's products, and will build positive feedback for 06 after 05 blew.

I know that itech is getting a cage sale from me off of this offer, as I may have otherwise purchased a jofa cage.

The difference in price netween an Itech helmet and a helmet/cage combo in my shop is $10 and is about the same price as buying just the game.

$50 for a 95, $50-60 for a sweetass mirrored visor and I get a free game??? Sounds like a deal to me. Assuming the damn thing fits my head...which I dont know since I've never used an Itech before.

Regarding the promo ITECH also wanted to partner up with guys that could highlight our products in the coolest way to the widest possible audience. For example, any player can select from any of our retail ITECH masks when they create their goalie (create a player will be a massive feature this year, as many of you have highlighted). The guys at EA Sports have been great to work with. No complaints from my end.

We also wanted to offer our retailers something unique and to date the response has been tremendous.

The NHL series from EA (well, since NHL 2000 anyway) doesn't hold a candle to the NHL 2K series from Visual Concepts/Take Two Interactive/Kush Games.

I liked NHL 2005 i played around with the options (toned things like hitting down) and will get NHL 2006 for sure. to bad i just got a new helmet last year.

I can't directly recall, so I'm just throwing out what I remember, correct me if I'm wrong... but I think you can get it on any major console or the PC...

I don't think ill go for this deal i think ill just rent it then buy it because i don't like buying games and hating them because my local games shop buys new 2nd hand games off you for £7:50 about $15 so i like to try them first especially if they cost £40

I think you guys will like this year's game. EA went back to its roots and decided to go with the NHL '94 style gameplay of running & gunning. The AI is still smart enough to smoke you though if you try to be too fancy but everything from the hitting to the defense to offensive plays are all geared towards a fast-pace, easy-flowing game. I personally liked '05 for multiplayer. Because it was quite difficult to score, it made those 3-2 games with my buddies pretty exciting.

The game will be out in the fall when the hockey season is 'supposed' to start. And no, I didn't just steal opinions off of the Litty interview. I actually worked on NHL 06 so I can truthfully say that it is a great game. Bias aside, it's definately the funnest NHL game that I've played aside from NHL 2005 multiplayer.

Off topic: Kobe, I recentliy changed jobs and now work for a lawfirm that has it's office in the same building as EA Germany. EA has the two floors above our two floors. However, meeting EA guys in the lift when going to lunch is a darn funny thing. Nothing but freaks. Most of em long haired, leather cloth and army boots wearing, thick cloud of cigarette smell surrounding them. I hope you EA guys ain't all like that, as it might give me a precise picture of what YOU are like.

They have some HOT chicks though. In the lift in the morning the hottest ones push the button for on of the EA floors. Makes me think "Challenge everything!" every time...
