G Series Graf's

Recommended Posts

I'm considering new skates, and although one of my dad's friends at the LHS had recomended I didn't go with graf in march when I got my v-12's, it seems that there's no skates that will fit my feet well.

Anyhow, how do the G series compare to the offerings from other companies as far as performance, stiffness, and weight go? How's thier durability and do they retain water? Are they bakeable?

Well I think that Grafs perform just as well as any other skate on the market if it fits your foot right. When it comes to stiffness it differs from Graf model to model as well as the fit from model to model. The G Series skates used to have a problem with getting waterloged but I belive that the problem has been fixed for the 2005 lineup. And when it comes to bakeability, Yes all Graf models can be baked.

Graf skates can be rebaked over and over again. As far as the G-Series goes, the ones I have worked on have been garbage. Sloppy outsoles and insoles. Inspect them carefully.

I'm with Cavs. I've had my G3's for 4 months with no problems at all. They are the most comfortable skates I have ever owned. I even have black Tuuk's on them. They look pimp.

I love how the white doesn't look remotely close to going with the rest of the skate. Like those cars with body kits that haven't been painted yet.

He works for a store and I believe he is actually at the Graf factory right now. I don't mind that he stole my Canada flag though, honestly, it doesn't bother me at all.... It's not like I stole the idea off another member

Hey bro, I've had the same problem with my feet, could not find anything that fits. People told me to try Grafs, but I was always hesitant. Till about a week ago I got fed up and tried on a pair. I don't think there is a skate on the market that even comes close to the comfort level the Graf skates offer, its trully something different the padding in those skates. Stupid me I didn't try them on sooner.

Also Graf seems to have a skate for every foot type. I bought a pair of G9's since I need a skate that is wide and deep fitting. Seriously go and get fitted up, but make sure by someone who knows the Graf line really well, and yeah if you can go with the new G series as they are much better then Grafs before them.

Good Luck !
