Price point OPS

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys.

I am a student and in need of a new stick, but as i am a student money is a little tight, does anyone have any suggestions for good, cheap (as OPS's come!) one piece sticks. I was thinking about mission Z1 although cant find a price for them in any shops here in england.

Any ideas wud be much appreciated.

Cheers.

We're selling senior Z-1's for $99 US. I haven't used one, so I can't really compare it to the ones I have used.

You can´t go wrong with a CCM Vector V110. It´s the best OPS when it comes to comparing price and durability in my opinion. There´s places selling them for little more than 100, maybe 120 Euro. It´s the only OPS that had lasted me a whole season btw. The V100 is even cheaper but I can´t judge it.

My mate Gareth bought a vector 110 and broke it in one practice, ive always wanted one but im scared of it breaking and therefore being a waste of money. Gareth would slapshot alot though. Have you played alot with one?

Vapor V

Vector-80

Both those sticks are real good for the price.

Easton hgas the "one" and Mission the Z-1 but the jury is still out on those. Vapor V is a tank good stick for $85.

I second the Vapor V. I got one at the beginning of last year. It is now the second year and still goin strong.

We sell the VI and everybody is OK with it. OPS without the big bucks price tag. We have Easton One, as well. VI may be a better bang for your buck but since your in the UK it might be more "duro for your euro."

the bauer vapor VI is one of the most durable ops ,ive ever seen, out of the 5 kids that had them on my team none have broke and some of those kids broke synergys like they were a pencil.

One of the guys on my team had two of them. They were pretty durable but the feel was horrid.

If you can find a Nike Apollo - former top of the line Nike.. I found them to be quite durable and light with good balance and feel, though i wasn't very found of the whole Peaches and Cream color scheme..

U might want to deffenitly consider going with the ex top line range for sure, as they are phased out there pricing drops incredibly so you are left with the decision of a price point or decent but a lil out dated OPS..

Synergy - Synergy Grip

Tps Response + Rubber Response

Mission M1

Nike Apollo

Bauer Tri Flex gold + Tri flex series

CCm Vector 100 - 110

and the list goes on..

Sorry but there was no point to make two topics on this, one in roller and one in ice.

alright judge judy

id say the vapor VI as well if you guys have it, or the vapor VI select looks nice too. i see lots of ccm V110s around, heck a guy on my team ahd one in preseason, he liked it and all he takes are slapshots, and its still alive.

Didn't whant to make a new topic about this....

How is the feel of the SMU Vapor 1(for Canadian tire) or the Vapor V(the one at 40CND)...i'm wondering if i try the lindros pattern...and decide it a nice curve...would i still like the feel of it?? or i'm better just buying the XV or X...?

By the way,,,at a price point there still the MOMENTUM...

Ill agree with the Bauer V and VI. If you want grip go with the VI if not stick with the V. Its a very durable stick for a great price.
