Check the catalogue for the year. If they were discontinued, it'd likely be when their new line comes out so you have a little while.

Direct answer: I doubt they've been discontinued.

It would be interesting to see if they put out an ST and SL version of blade to replace the normal and si-core synthesis blades.

Side note: Either a lot of pros are using ST sticks or they prefer the simpler graphics because I've noticed a lot of them watching games so far this season.

I was watching the Nashville game and Hordichuk scored with an ST grip colored stick and that thing is really ugly on TV.

Isn't Parise using an ST Grip?

Getzlaf is using one and having that mixed in with the already-heinous Duck uniforms is just a crime to vision.

I was at the islanders practice before my game last sunday (our game was on thier practice rink) and a couple of the guys and one of the coaches had unbranded sticks that just say "synergy" in the new graphics, it was kind of wierd.

What's interesting is how few Stealths you see. I've only noticed one so far. Quite a lot of Vapor XXX Lites though..........

I'm pretty sure they will launch SL and ST's next year. A Synergy SI Core and a Synthesis SI Core are the exact same thing anyway. So now that it's gone, Easton will offer them as OPS and in Synthesis.

Do you have any idea how much silicon was in the blade anyway?

On one SiCore Zcarbon I had that broke, there were two small strips, like Chadd said, about the size of a stick of gum. They were light blue colored, and smelled kinda funny too.

I've noticed alot of people using ST's and even last years Synergy models. I was a little surprised. Stumpy had his Synergy, and a few others with the Leafs in Pre-season. O'Neil's using an ST, even Lindros had some Woods painted like XX's and not XXX's or XX Max Grips. There seems to be more variety in sticks around the league than I've ever seen. With this years and last years Easton sticks, plus Bauers got a few more out, then the newer brands, there are alot out there. Haven't seen much TPS though. The Leafs used to be all TPS, but theres alot more diversity now.

Ever seen a SI Core from that angle?

There usually are two silicon strips. The front one kinda got lost I think. The back one is held with clear tape so it doesn't fall off.

If you think they smell kinda funny, you should definitly taste them...
