I scored 4 goals in a championship game last season. It was a surprise to everyone that we won (we went 0-3-1 against the team we played during the season). Easily my best hockey moment to date.

Last year on my beer league team in the championship game I had 5 assists, and set up my cousin on a great breakaway in overtime. Nothing huge, but for me a great assist has always been a better feeling than a goal, for some reason.

I won 5 league championships in 3 years, out of a possible 6. Lost the other in the finals. Got alot more championships, but that 5 in 3 was the best run. Because of it, our High School team has our plaque up in the Hockey Hall of Fame.. Captained 1 of the 3, and basically the other. Scored 10 points in a roller game, and had a few "big games". Scored a handful of tournament/championship winning goals. Went a season without having a goal scored when I was on the ice and I was one of 4 D playing and captained that team as well (to a championship).

championship game. were known to be second best, actually, its just the other teams supposed to be awsome thats all and we hadnt played them yet. All pumped up. First drop of the puck I jump in from winger, split the defense, go in toedrag the goalie, got a goal within 7 seconds. That had the crowd going. It ended up being a close game and I did get the winning goal too, but not as fancy and exciting as the first one. B)

i've never did super great thing...but now i always played offence...then a BS happen to me i got cut from the team...then the ASS coach would give me a defenseman job if i accept to play def

So i had 1 pratice to adjust to play defence...in 5 game...i'm the leader in defence point with 3 assist..1 missed breakaway...and a plus minus of +8 ( on 5 game only one goal have been scored when i was on ice)

Making the switch from foreward to defence and becomming a way better defenceman than a foreward. I was a 3rd 4th liner as a foreward and than I became a starter on defence getting more points than I got as a foreward lol.

I learned to play in a few short years and became a modestly respectable rec league player despite never having even attempted ice skating until my mid thirties. I grew up in the South (Virginia and Alabama), where there are four sports: football, basketball, baseball, and spring football. Not much ice!

Graduated college, bought a house, and got hitched.  Perspective boys, perspective.

What he said, other than buying a house. I'm too nomadic.

My biggest achievement ( IN HOCKEY) was probably to convert from goalie to forward when I was 12 years old and after that I managed going on to playing a year in the second highest german junior level at age 15. (comparable to Junior B like BCJHL or WOJHL in Canada I´d say) and a handfull of games a level up (comparable to OHL). Not comparable regarding skill but the system is similar. I stopped playing ice when I was 16. After two years away from any hockey I started playing ball hockey and am meanwhile playing in a very competitive league (with a national championship) with even a bunch of ex. pro ice players. I have been invited to team Greece´s camp for the 2007 World Championships as well. I consider that an achievement. B)

It was a joke.

I knew your's was a joke, but some of these other guys are need a little perspective when it comes to their greatest achievements.

Course, I always figured your's would have been getting out of that hockey hotbed that is Orlando.

My biggest personal hockey achievement would probably scoring a natural hat trick during my first shift of game when I was a squirt decades ago.

I got moved back to defense for the rest of the game and was later screwed out of an assist (they gave it to my partner).

We ended up winning 5-3.

And later that day we played the same team again, I started in net, and we won 3-1.

A couple of years ago I started a beer league game in net because our goalie was late. He showed up early in the 2nd, so I went and changed out of my goalie gear and into my forward's gear. I got on the ice late in the 2nd and played RW the rest of the game.

And over the course of that season I played in all 6 positions on the ice.

You can say I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. :D

my greatest came after my true competetive playing days. i was a coach on a team that went to nationals three staight years, and won two of the three.

i would love to have done that as a player, but it was a great experience watchin the boys you work with day in and day out, come away that victorious.
